Iinet,merchants is a great company to work for. They make their employees feel safe,comfortable and at home the environment is very energetic and well organized.The only downfall of this PBO is that the working hours is not accommodating and growth is limited I feel that growth is important. I believe in change this is what drivers me working for iinet has been wonderful and limiting in the same breath so feel the experience has been some what bitter sweet.

Consultant to leadership to management

When entering the workplace it was fun vibes and I just love my colleagues. I had a very good relationship with my co-workers managers and all staff members working with me I was the positive and energetic and most encouraging person at my workplace. I have learnt a lot about international customers how to deal with them and provide them with excellent customer service I also dealt with their emotions and emphatically dealt with them and sympathize with them at all times I use to guide them and done things to the best of my ability. I enjoyed most the team buildings the customers and solving their queries each and every day loved helping with management and admin work and helped the team excel to do better at what they were doing with in their workspace . The most challenging thing was competing with the various team learning new things and taking on new content but managed to learn it in a way where you didn’t feel scared but were confident and excited to work

Cons: Jealousy in the company favouring others and backstabbing

Great learning experience

Great environment to work in. Good experiences with co workers. Great assistance and support from team members. Great learning curve. As customer service speaking to new people. Dealing with new challenges daily. Learning from mistakes. Having fun.

Awesome opportunity in getting your job experience

I love working at iiNet reason being is because you can easily make salary increase by doing well in your stats (NPS) if you were really dedicated in making money and very technical in support on the other hand I found this job very easy for me as this is the field I studied and have experience as well, this was my stepping stone into getting my very first professional job my passion is web development at this time I’m focusing on gaining more knowledge in programming and becoming a an expert. There are two things I never liked about iiNet that had to work night shift and always keep customers happy in order to keep customer lucky for me my technical knowledge was able to ease customers and educate them about the new generation technology.

Pros: you get increase of salary you make good stats
Cons: working night shift as it was international company

Excellent learning curve

A typical day at IInet includes meeting deadline and giving excellent customer service. Good friends and having a good laugh at times. I have learnt how the internet works, how billing departments work, how to close sales and giving excellent customer service. I enjoy most of all interacting with the customers. The most challenging aspect of the job would be if you can't resolve the customers issue and they are angry.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Working all public holidays

Excellent Learning Curve

Login to system at least 15-30min before shift starts View open task and try to assist or close the task if necessary Assist co workers where assistance is needed I have learnt to resolve an issue before it escolates Assisting and resolving issues The most challenging aspect of the job is to be prepared for the unexpected

Pros: Assisting till issue is resolved, following up with ongoing queries
Cons: Working the night shift, and not having time with my wife and kids

Fast learner

Gaining experience and new skills

My opinion of what it should be like at a company is happy place and a want to go to every day be like a family and also be positive and enjoy what you do. My relationship with my co-workers is professional with a twist of joy. I enjoy talking to my customers the most because even thou im talking to a stranger they can make you smile like no person you know can and also build a bond with them which is so cool.
