Salary is too little.

Salary is always paid too short , they have a rule where you cant query your pay after a certain date . They expect that you should in your lunch and tea break call to have your salary or payslips fixed, No time off is given. Warnings are issued for almost everything. There is no opportunity for growth as I have seen people work for 5 years and have applied for manager position but did not even get the opportunity.. Unable to make rewards and recognition as they have too many rules and as soon as they see that people are coping they change it and make it harder to make extra incentives. They give you peanuts for a night shift allowance , which can't even get you a loaf of bread. Other companies not even half the size of this company get paid way more . Don't waste your time at this place .They don't care about nobody .

Pros: Straight shift
Cons: Salary is way too little.

Iinet experienc

Techical austraila based call center helping customer calling in about an internet issue like slow speeds, dropouts, identify faults to have a technician sent out. Different internet services like adsl,on-net,off-net,fibre,naked dsl,HFC,fttn etc. Billes and payment, resend invoices via email. Log complaints. Follow up with customer calling different departments looking for updates for the customer. At the end of every call we must have a summary of what the customer was asissted with. One leaning new thing about the internet well troubleshooting. I enjoyed working with internet connections and problem finding.

Pros: There is growth as a floor Walker
Cons: 8-9 night shift

Patience, service delivery and eagerness to help

I'm working as Technical support customer service representative, we're not only focusing on that as a department, we deal with bills and sales even though there is a billing and sales department but we are united a employees we helping each other to brand the company. If a client was calling regards to internet issues but they also want to know other services and their benefits we can also explain to the client before we can put them through a relevant department. The environment is friendly, people are very nice whether you know each other or not. We also have skype that help us to contact each other when one needs help we laugh and speak like we know each other. We sometimes deal with difficult and frustrated customers but we always give them an assurance that they are not going to drop the line without helping them.

Pros: If we meet our daily targets till month end for 3 months, the company increases our hourly rate, you get promoted so there is growth.
Cons: We are not working long hours, the shift are hectic hence we dealing with Australians

It was a very good company to grow from. It is a service provider and prides itself in customer service and that is why it ensures employees are happy to reach maximum potential. The work environment was very laid back and social to build the friendly and comfortable environment for all employees

Pros: Customer centric
Cons: Exaggerated targets

Great Working Environment

We only worked night shift which was great at first but got tiring after the first 12 months We worked with a dynamic team of individuals. We had to adapt to change very fast as the industry is always improving its techno;logy and we had to be flexible to change Great company to work for.

Pros: Fast paced environment, Management really cared about his staff
Cons: Night shift only

Excellent learning curve

Working at a call centre has taught me not only to be patient but dedicated and hard working to achieve certain goals. I managed to gain the experience I would have never gotten anywhere else and the place of work taught me how to work in a competitive fast pace environment.

Pros: Promoted growth and development
Cons: Long hours

No Growth

The company and people are great. I have been working here for over 4 years and totally comfortable. The company has just over 1000 staff members but the growth is a major let down. Being with the company I have reached the highest rate per hour so over the past 2 years I could not get an annual increase and I believe that is not fair.

Pros: Environment is great.
Cons: Not getting recognized and no increases.

Excellent training, up skilling CSR constantly.

IiNet is a great Job for young individuals who is fresh in the working industry. No room for growth. Excellent training. Great team players. Management is good. Shifts are unreasonable and unrealistic. Sick leave is a problem.

Pros: Excellent experience and skills
Cons: Shifts are unreasonable, no room from growth

Great working environment

The high call volumes, fast paced work environment was good as it kept people motivated and on their feet. There's never a dull moment, a typical day can be a slow call cue, fast paced high call volumes or administration work but the business allows/encourages teamwork and being goal - orientated so workload is shared easily and there are processes that cater for employees.

Pros: Great opportunities for growth.
Cons: Payroll and shift bands
