Growing environment

I joined Hollard without experience as my first employer placed me there to gain practical experience and offer Hollard with the services. I started working on SharePoint where i learned HTML and CSS, Application Support which deals with customer comunication, SLA and system issues and configuration. Hollard took me in after my contract ended and that's where i started learning SQL (T-SQL) where i was writing queries and stored provedures for system integration and SSRS (certified in SQL 70-761). I also learned how to create K2 Application (Certified in K2 Five), I am now enhancing a C# developed system and working on Restful API. I have taught myself AngularJS as it is used mostly in the market. I enjoy working on C# as it is challenging and provides a lot of growth and nice bugs to be fixed.

Pros: It's a great company to start at and you get to learn a lot of programming languages.
Cons: Salary is bad

Motivating

I work with positive and energetic people that inspires me to work hard and have goals. i plan my day every morning before i start working, this helps me to have a direction and to have successful day. My daily goals is to make sure i reach and exceed my given target. i have learned that failure is a chance to raise up and try again and twice as hard. what i enjoy most about my job is the challenges i come across everyday, you get to learn a new thing every day. A rejection is a challenge and its also an opportunity to move you from where you are to the next step.its a curve to make you learn and be strong in what you do.It also channels you to the right directions.

Career Advancement

I have been working for Hollard partner as Branch consultant for a period of a year and early this year I moved to one of the branches in Klerksdorp to lead the branch on temporary basis until the branch leader came back. It was a great opportunity as it helped me grow as an individual and unleashed my potential. I am now ready to move to another company to advance my career and build a sustainable career. I was recognized as a branch leader of the month and was given full support by management to be a better person and do well at the branch. I had a great team behind me and we treated each other with utmost dignity and respect. Getting new sales was the most challenging part of our daily job but admin and claims we excelled as a team. The most important part was customer service

Excellent corporate environment working space

Management skills to successfully perform the planning, directing, reporting and administrative responsibilities. Decision making skills concerning Information Systems policies, processes and procedures, with a proved. Completing tasks and/or projects within budget and on schedule. Managing multiple high priority initiatives in a fast paced highly technical environment. Relationship with workers was very good, from the staff that reported to me which is Helpdesk and Desktop support team and workers from other department, we were very understanding and patient towards each other. I have learnt to manage people fairly and I enjoyed being a team player mostly and awarding incentives to motivate the team. The challenges in IT doesn’t end, from time to time you will come across a new challenge that you will have to learn from it and record it for future referral.

My experience

IvfgfgEver since I've worked, I've learnt a lot from both my company and my colleagues. My typical work day experience has gone from just working to building friendships and working relationships with both my colleagues and clients. Because we believe that if we work well together we are able to provide great quality service to our customers. Salary wise it's bad because these no growth and development. But I believe if you have a happy client you've got a growing businesstf

Excellent Company to work for

I had the most amazing time working for hollard, I learnt so much, started as an agent and worked my way up, Hollard is such an innovative company that believes in empowering their employees. I wouldn't be where I am had Hollard not given me the opportunity to work for them. Will forever be grateful for all the lessons learned with regards to being a young professional in a corporate sector.

The company is great and always put their employees first. They have great culture and have made progress in thinking for their employees. I mean general employees. The company salary structures are not bad.

Strong , excellent , strive to achieve the best

My day starts at 6:30 everyday . I am an early bird person . Firstly i write down all my to do list for the day . Check urgent things to do and they are my first priority . I can give a total of 10 out 10 the relationship with my co-workers . In one word its Out of this world. We have respect for each other, laughter , advises. I enjoy mostly about my job to see my clients happy with my service and exceed my daily expectation by going extra mile helping them . Honestly every day is different and nothing i can say its challenging apart from the system when they are down meaning offline
