My day at the company
my colleagues are like my family, we get along well personally and proffessionally. Being an executive assistant to the Director, i am privy to a lot of confidential stuff and my colleagues are well aware of my level of confidentiality. i have learnt alot from being an assistant to playing a role in the Business Intellgence sector of the company. The most challenging aspects of my job is being my directors 2IC at times were it felt like i am to lead and ensure everyone delivered.

Excellent
I’m a self-motivated, ambitious and responsible individual with proven ability to learn quickly. A good communicator at all levels who enjoys meeting new challenges. An individual who adapts well to new situations and has consistently worked as a team member.

Excellent Telecoms experience
A typical day is very vibrant and energetic, the staff works as a team. I have learnt a lot about the telecoms industry. I enjoy checking the technical aspects of the devices of faulty devices and trying to configure devices for clients. The most challenging aspect is keeping you irate clients happy.
Pros: Many things to learn, new and innovative things daily.

Opportunity for growth
I am currently responsible for the overall management of the branch from sales, training, customer service, finances, stock taking and orders. competitor analysis and instore promotions. the relationship with both employers and employees is good and the business is doing fine due we are new in retail

Pleasant atmosphere
I have been most fortunate in working at GloCell in a few different positions. The company is continually growing and striving for new projects while affording the staff with new job opportunities in house. Management and staff are very respectful and have a lot of interaction which has created a more relaxed atmosphere. I enjoy challenges and don’t like to sit idle. GloCell offered Voluntary Retrenchments last year which affected the Retail side of the business, of which I was part of hence my break in employment however they offered me re-employment which is my current position.
Pros: relaxed atmosphere
Cons: Sadly the Company is down scaling again

Good learning curve
Ensuring that all staff are skilled and knowledgeable to delight customers. Measuring effectiveness by conducting regular customer surveys, e.g. Ask Africa, NPS Establishing and maintaining beneficial relationships with a wide network of internal and external suppliers, Providing input and commentary to monthly and annual executive reports, plans, budgets, strategies and projects Optimizing productivity while reducing staff attrition and absenteeism Effectively using systems to increase customer service reduce risk and increase income. Reducing the cost to revenue ratio Optimizing income from campaigns, calls/capacity volumes and sales while being competitively priced relative to outsource options. Provide effective leadership through, coaching / mentorship, rewarding, recognizing and managing performance (improve leadership ratings as per staff 360 degree feedback)
