About my job
I'm a freelancer which means I work alone. This is both a pro and con. A typical day consists of reading briefs, brainstorming ideas, reviewing projects, designing, consulting with clients etc. I enjoy the design part the most and what is challenging, is that I handle everything from finances, marketing, designing, etc by myself.

Excellent for learning time management
Because everything is online, it has been easier to cope. Proper working hours Great feedback Time. There are many young creative teams around. There is great communication between managers and juniors. Mentorship is encouraged all round

Great practice to micro-manage your own work.
A workday includes updating and interacting with potential and existing clients across all media platforms. After updating clients and potential clients, I get into the bulk of my day. Drawing up pitches and executing work.
Pros: Good opportunity to work on a wide range of products, with an even wider range of clients.
Cons: People would prefer to work with a company as opposed to an individual. Even if that company is only an individual.

The work is amazing, but the instability leads to slow growth.
Being a freelancer is great, you choose the jobs you do, you get to meet new people every day, you get to go to breathtaking locations every day that you would've otherwise never seen. However, there is a major, problem and that is that the work is seasonal, which means that come wintertime, there is no work.
Pros: Great locations, people and food
