Working under pressure

Working in the car rental industry is pressurized. Every day we learn more about the different cultures as I meet many travellers. Customers service is foremost importance. I love developing staff and daily I take the time out to teach staff. I believe if we train and develop staff they give off their best in the position they appointed at. I love worked in a fast paced environment, I'm very organized and thorough with my job and duties. The challenges I faced was It was the difficulty of advising a client they are responsible for damages on a vehicle.

Excellent learning curve

A typical work day had us sifting through 500+ car hire bookings, I loved the pressure and constantly being busy. I had great relationships with all my co-workers, they were my family away from home. I have definitely learnt how to work under pressure and I've learnt how the car rental industry operates. What I enjoyed most about my time at Europcar is the different tourists from all over the world that I got to meet, the relationships that I built with VIP customers. Challenging part was having system errors and having to do everything manually.

Pros: Growth opportunities are high
Cons: 24 hour - 365 days a year company, there's no stopping or guaranteed leave.

Great experiance and good environment

I am a young motivated individual who is looking for new opportunities, meet new challenges and eager to learn new things in life. I have qualifications in call centre (debtor’s collection) and travel & tourism. I have 5 years’ experience in administration, sales and customer services within the motor industry. I have good communication and computer skills. I believe my experience and qualifications will make me the best candidate for this position

Interaction with customers

Fleet Check - Running fleets to plan, carry out, communicate ad record all forms of essential vehicle and driver safety. Delivering cars to customers and making sure that customers are happy with the service offered. Doing quality car checks. Organize travel road and insure that the vehicle papers are accurate. Follow safety practices, identifies problems and works to resolve safety issues.

I am currently unemployed and looking for alternative employment. When I was working for Europcar it was sometimes stressfull, very busy but at the end of the day I had very happy clients.

Pros: there is room for growth
Cons: not enough training provided for employees

Shuttling internationals and making them feel welcome and make life convenient

Transporting huawei technologies staff to sites and offices then later on to their doomatries. And we transport same people mostly on shuttles and that makes our job easy cause clients can now relate to us easily... As we also learn how to greet them in their language...but sometimes its not easy as we know traffic in this country has always been a major problem but we always try to be early at our pickup spots.

Pros: work at our company has a great chance of growing employees from driver to office department depending on how willing you are.
Cons: long unpaid hours....no annual bonuses

I have learned a lot of jobs, learning how to treat the client or to deal with clients and how to work Long hours how take care of vehicles inspection of vehicles I have learn a Lot of things.

Sensitive and very strictly on My Job.

Pros: Has a good attendance record. Can always be counted on to work overtime when necessary without complaint.
Cons: Always at work and on time. Never misses work without prior approval and appropriate notification. Has had no unscheduled absences during the rating period.
