During my working experience I have gained wealth of knowledge in all spheres of admin

Being overall in charge of staff I had to maintain a friendly but stern approach. Although an open book environment was maintained but certain aspects of confidentiality had to be maintained.

Pros: Being a huge municipality room for progress was noted.
Cons: A lot of travelling

Salary test

8hour job from 7 to 4. We are a team of 6 individuals, we work hand in hand. Most challenging is the fact that we service employees of eThekwini Municipality..

Excellent analytical and presentational skills

I WORK AS MEAT INSPECTOR FOR FOOD SAFETY AGENCY THAT HAVE BRANCHES ALL OVER THE CONTRY AND BEYOND. I CLOCK IN AT 7 AM AND STRILISE OR WORK EQUIPMENTS AND CHECH IF EVRY THING IS IN ODER BEFOR THE SLOTERING OF ANIMAL TAKES PLACE. MY ACTUAL DUTY IS TO ELEMINATE DESEASES AND INFECTION FROM THE CACAARSE TO ESURE THAT RED MEAT IS SAFE FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE JOB, EXCTREAM HYGIE PRECOATIONS MUST BE TAKEN FOR THE SAFETY OF MEAT,STAF AND THE ENVIRONMENT

My previous employment at EThekwini Municipality was fantastic

On my previous employment I enjoyed working with the company I experienced lot of challenges because I was working different people with different cultures and values but I was able to cope, I worked for 2 years at EThekwini Municipality, now I am not employed, I have learnt that you must not argue with suppliers or customers but you must find the way to solve a particular problem, I was really enjoying my administrative work that I was doing daily , the most challenging aspects of my previous job was taking breakdowns and we didn't have enough Artisans who will attend those breakdowns and customers will have to wait for help for long hour's and I will have to phone them and explain what is happening daily, sometimes customers will get angry and shout at me. In the workplace I was working very well with the staff I am sure they were wishing I should be employed permanent but than it didn't happen my contract for internship expired this year January 2018

A learning experience

I am a team player, i enjoy working with different people and in my years at the ethekwini municipality there were no conflict between other employees and myself. Everyday i would come into the work place on time start my work without being told, i woukd see to customers inquiries and resolve them as best as i could. What it has taught me is how deal with people from different backrounds and to listen others peoples problem and empanthise with them.

Expanded career knowledge

Is the great place or organization to work in. They give the relavent experience and help you grow career wise. The Municipality is helped me grow and expanded my knowledge and experience.
