I have work in a Plastic Company called SRF in KwaZulu Natal and I have experience in Sugar,Chemical and Eskom indusrty. I have a S2 Mechanical Engineering and a Trade Test wich I obtained in 2010 at Umbani Training Centre in Durban.

Continous improvement through innovations
learning by creating a learning organization where innovations are valued and pursued. challenges experienced are explored until solution is sought. team work and ability to part take executing maintenance on outages and brining machines back on line in due time is a major challenge

Exposure to management
As someone who has worked for Sasol before, I have been exposed to big companies where safety is prioritized, prior working for Sasol, I served in many companies as part of in-service training,to name few Afriscan ,Vdan construction,Cross Moor and Yimpi projects ,I worked on water and sanitation,storm water system, parking and access roads and road rehabilitation.

CAPEX Projects learning curve.
Our department is Capacity Expansion under a division Turbo Gen Services. The team consist of 5 Project Managers, me as a Senior Accountant Projects and the HOD managing CAPEX Projects to the value of R1.4Billion. We review projects weekly with an individual Project Manager. Identify Risk, threats to Budgets. Then come with mitigation measures. We also forecast activities that will occur in the current week, month and future months. I also review financials weekly giving me time to fine tune reports to meet my 5th day month end report deadline. The main challenge I encountered was to write a Position Paper for Property, Plant and Equipment. I have a healthy relationship with the HOD and Project Managers. We've develop friendship with some Project Managers. I've learnt to manage CAPEX Projects as was only used to OPEX Projects.
Pros: Good Projects environment to always be alert.
Cons: Executive moratorium not to renew Full Term Contracts when they end.

How to handle pressure
To handle pressure.To be a team member.Communication is the key.Reporting to the section leader or foreman.Working safely and reaching targets.Reporting any or all unsafe acts.
Pros: Oportunities for promotion are big.

Best learning curve
We where doing construction work and I was compiling reports for different sites and all incident reports also inspections on site auditing small contractors on site to check compliance .the relationship with employees or co workers was an open communication to avoid incident to happen ,I've learnt that being humble and respecting all kinds of people it's best .the most challenging aspect of the job was working on live line on working on a submission time or when the client I enjoyed my work course it taught Me to deal with all time of people and deffeferent peesonalities

Excellent growing curve
Good company with new challenges, am too much into machining and fitting and need change and explore in other field.we work very well with my team for our focus is in production not personal issues which is what I like about my team we technical.i have learned to machining different materials , drawing ,measurements and a lot of technical job.i enjoy machining casings and finishing in time.i don’t like working under pressure

I have learnt to do the right thing first time
I really enjoy to engage myself with the employees from supervisor to team leaders to advice them with quality and procedure. I compile documents day to day of completed portions of work to avoid overload. I also enjoy to do the weekly and monthly progress report for the cĺient. After all the encouragement and support to all the teams to complete the work in time.

-Qualified Electrician with in plant maintenance environment with a very strong electrical background that ranges over 5 years. -Experienced in all aspects of electrical operations with transformers and pumps. -Highly meticulous and reliable with an outstanding service record. -Adept multi-tasker able to handle a number of functions with professionalism and accuracy. - Strong research skills in optimizing team operations.- Effective communicator and motivator who identifies and leverages assets in teammates to reach organizational goals.
