Great corporate experience

A typical work day was what you would expect on a corporate environment. There will be 1 or 2 meetings to attend. I had a good relationship with my coworkers, they taught me a lot as i was the youngest in the company I learnt numerous things such as fluency in english, being confident when presenting etc.

Pros: Room for growth & independency

Great work experience

I started working for Engen Petroleum last year and since then I have enjoyed my stay. I truly enjoyed the experience and exposure to the business by volunteering to assist at different departments when they are in need. Engen is a very professional company and pleasant to work for. The support system is amazing from management. I enjoyed most learning different aspects of the business. however the working hours at times were unpleasant, but we were allowed to swap shifts amongst each other.

Cons: Shifts and working on weekends

Willingness to learn and result driven

I have been in Retail for more than 2 decades,17 years in Retail FMCG started as staff member and work my way up to management,8 YEARS in Retail sales & marketing in Petroleum business I have gained excellent managerial experience which makes me feel confident that I could be of service to your company,while cv provides details of my history,I have attribute that I should bring to your attention,that I’m a result orientated person.

I learn very quickly

Per day i process the money received from customers, updating intercompany spreesheet. I work very well in my team, i always assit others in order for us to meet our deadlines and produce excellent results. I have leant that we all different we work different. I learned a lot about intercompany accounting and different ratese.g Botswana, Mauritius, Reunion, Malawi, Mozambique and Namibia. I enjoy doing analysis, i like the work that is challenging as it proves that i am proactive thinker. i always look for new ways of doing things.

Pros: I enjoy working at engen as we work with different divisions like Supply Chain, Credit, audit and HR.
Cons: I can work overtime as sometimes I come on weekends when i see that I am behind maybe due to the project that I was busy with.

My daily routine is quite normal everyday My SAP training helps to explores new things on daily basis My safety rep training give me more responsibilities and learn to adhere more to safety aspects My first aid training give opportunity to learn and to offer myself more on other things
