Fast leaner great experience

Well working at Emperors Palace was amazing, you would look forward to a new day, every office has it own politics but it was great and also working with customers (Guests) it was nice they well also leave you with,advice and complain to solve. And I also got an opportunity to take customer service course, Fica course And FET GENERIC MANAGEMENT NQF level 3 business administration course and I'm must say I've learn to much in that Company and I'm so grateful. Most challenging aspects about my job was its when you dealing with Customers who swear at you but it comes with the job and Managers moods.

Pros: Well great new opportunities
Cons: I've been working long hours and never get paid for that

Great learning experience

The experience was outstanding, however it had its many challenges and obstacles. I managed to overcome them. The staff was helpful and supportive throughout my experience.

Pros: I received a promotion from Call center agent to Head of the Administration department

Internship learning

On a typical day, I come in an do all my checklist calls making sure that before the users come in that there is no errors and that the day would go smooth once the users arrive I prepare to take calls from the service desk and prioritise the calls from urgent to lease urgent doing all my troubleshoot on all these problems that I face and finding solutions. on the end of the day we have a handover to the next shift to continue on all projects and work that was not completed on your shift. I have a great relationship with my colleagues we help each other with tasks and assist where I can I have learnt so much as I am an intern. I mostly enjoy the challenges, no two days are the same

Teaches well

The company is well established and have well educated people. Their training school is very efficient. I am glad that I started here. Not everyone is perfect and does what anyone is doing. I believe that they don't pay their employees accordingly though. They take advantage of training their staff. Yes it's a company loss but that cannot drag for yes. I was promoted twice but I see no difference. At the end of the day it's a good company to work for

Pros: They pave a great chance to make it in life. I've seen people going and having better jobs
Cons: Nights shifts with less staff

Ai am a good leader and honest

I I work in a good company and it offers good opportunities to anyone. Me and my colleagues are always looking for help Nad help each other. I have learned soo many thing since I stated working there. Even though I used to have some challenges we used to help each

Everything is always a little more in hospitality

Beyond my expectations. My work family became like real family working with so many for the full 9 years. Getting opportunities I hadn't ever thought of as I never thought of the hospitality industry but now I love it. I have learnt so much and grown so much in my experience, in my self and in what it takes to operate in hospitality. A typical work day could be summed up as a fast pace always busy multi-tasking kind of day. I have been part of the kitchen operations mostly but have branched into hotels and front of house operations allowing me to learn more but I will always say I learnt the most and gathered the most in the kitchens, working for an outstanding boss made it just that much easier. Most challenging to be honest was juggling 4 managers and coordinating not only their lives but the tasks given to me, what is important and urgent vs. just important to do.

Pros: Opportunity to learn within operations is great
Cons: Ability to take what you've learnt and put it into ideas and into operation is always halted

Communucation skills

i have excellent experience with banking and handling of cash.i also have management,sales and coaching skills,my experience has taught me how bto handle pressure.i know how to roll up my sleeves and get totally involved with the work of retail management.i am always keen to learn new skills and develop myself

Good working place

I work as an admin bank cashier at emperors palace and I have good interpersonal skills and good communication skills. My line of duty is to help guest cash withdrawals and foreign exchange services as well as providing exceptional service to the guest

Excellent learning curve

Its a good company to work under as they provide training and they treat their employees with respect.Every good service you provide your rewarded for that as you will get e.g a voucher to stay for two days at the hotel with a friend or any family member.Everything you do its all about team work that is why the working relationship with your manager and staff is always on point so that we provide excellent service and customer satisfaction by always going an extra mile.
