Learning and team work

I was tasked with starting and setting up an admin and HR officer. Working for ETC and Kapsch has taught me to be a team player and do my job with integrity. Every month I do recruitment and interviews. I also prepare contracts, running inductions and prepare reports for Kapsch HR department.I have been exposed to Industrial Relations by representing the company at CCMA. At ETC and Kapsch I work with an amazing team that is driven by success and meeting it's (KPI). I get along with all my colleagues and often help each other where we can .My best moments is when I help employees to their own satisfaction, of which is not easy most of the time. I also enjoy hearing potential employees happy when I inform them that they have got the job. helping people and making a difference in their lives make me happy. Challenging aspects of my job is when I have to terminate an employee due to misconduct and informing employees that their contracts will not be renewed.

Pros: great opportunities for growth and learning
Cons: not meeting my KPI and disgruntled employees for failing to respond to their queries in time

Excellent learning curve

A good working envornment with good people , but very challenging as we doing grudge purchase with angry customers. So far i have learned to have good communication skills, how to deal with angry and happy customers, computer skills

My background in this field includes working in the banking reconciliation, claims and processing of invoices sectors, both areas that your advertised vacancy that a candidate should have as an experience. I have extensive knowledge of time management and considerable understanding of working as a cooperative member within a team. I am someone who is dedicated in proving the highest quality of service at all times, also intimately involved in everything that happens in any office that I work at. My strength lies in my attention to detail, and in my ability to ensure that all processes are as efficient as possible. In any company that I have worked for I am bringing new energy, fresh ideas and a different way of thinking, also do my best to help fellow colleagues achieve full potential. With my present employer I have a well deserve reputation for getting all tasks given done on time and within budget.

Strong soft skills development

My day to day work includes basically capturing customers information,filling and attending to customers quiries.Good working enviroment and a great team of employees that i would work with all the time.I have learnt more on how to handle difficult angry customers.My soft skill has really developed since ETC because we deal with all different customers,cash handling everyday not forgetting always adhering to Batho Pele principle.I enjoy account management and helping customers. The most challenging part is cash handling,it gets hectic at times but i still love it and has been on top if it.it has never given me issues.The other will be being able to control your emotions not breaking down after being shouted at for something that is not your fault by a customer which happens all the time.

A wonderful learning experience

I started working a a claims and complaints operator last year September, before I was working as an invoice operator in the admin department. We work as teams, and this is my first professional job. In have learned a lot from working in ETC, like the imports of team work, no matter how different we are, we need to put our differences aside and produce excellent results. Everyday is filled with laughter, that's what I enjoy the most with working in teams, bringing the fun out of work. The challenges that I sometimes face is coming across a case that I cannot resolve immediately, because I strive myself in customer service, I want my day to end with all cases resolved.

Pros: Great opportunities for business administration
Cons: Fixed term contract, not permanent employment

Office admin

I work for electronic toll collection a beautiful place of developing and growing where work is taken seriously. We are family objected company that is one of our biggest value then respect plays a big role in us too. I have learnt a lot of things in this place like how to work under pressure, the role that you need to present in a cor-prate environment and enjoy waking up to my work on a daily basis as i face different and many challenges and eager to learner not giving up

Pros: they are many opportunities but you know where it all starts, it starts with you and how bad you want whatever it is you eager for
Cons: unfortunately working hours are consistent but I can deal with changes

Excellent Learning Curve

we work in shifts I get along with my co-workers. To treat every customer like they are the first one I see for the day. To understand and show empathy to customers. I learned that being organized helps you to be efficient and provide best results. Interacting with people from all different Walks Of Life and being of Great Service to them. The uncertainty of a project environment, it is based on contract, and growth opportunities are to kept to a minimum.

Excellent learning curve

I walked in fresh from school, and quickly realized that "class has only just started." I currently work in a team of Three, providing desktop support and application administration to over 700 users, that makes my day unpredictable. Having to work in a team of three i have learnt to be reliable and accountable. The three of us have to work in a way that we are always on the same page and helping each other along way, which has brought us close together as a team. I have learnt that challenges are part of a typical work day and when i apply myself i reap the rewards which is my favorite part of the day.

I would prove to be an asset to your company if awarded the opportunity

I am a mature lady who loves challenges. I am a self starter, I work well within teams and individually. During my tenure at my current and previous employers, I managed the company events and I am always arranging birthday functions, etc. My work ethic is one of high efficiency, I enjoy interacting with colleagues and I have created meaningful relationships with key stakeholders within my department as well, which includes Insurance Brokers and suppliers. During a typical day I have many functions which I perform which includes Drafting and updating my procedures and policies, reconciliation of our company bank account, capturing purchase requisitions, managing certain aspects of our fleet, reporting to EXCO and SANRAL and submissions to SANRAL for payments to be made to ourselves. I am a very resourceful woman and this is probably due to the fact that I am a single mother of 4 and I have raised them single-handedly for a long while now.

Pros: I have never worked within project environment before and working for Etoll has broadened my knowledge of projects and what they entail
Cons: in a project environment, circumstances constantly change from day to day and this is very unsettling.

Excellent learning curve

My duties revolve around managing and distributing information within my office ,I liaise with different departments to provide all information concerning the customer service centres. My daily duties includes answering phones, maintaining all customer service documents ( leases and customer's documents ) and doing all my daily executive reports . I'm a team player and have a good relationship with my co-workers. I have learnt a lot from my team when it comes to managing people as i work closely with the area managers. My most challenging aspects is dealing with customers but i still enjoy my job.

Pros: Great opportunity for learning in different departments , keep eye on bottom line, think outside the box, practice artful articulation to get results,
Cons: Not much opportunity for growth
