Its always busy days at work,meeting clients and reconcile journals,execute payments and within legal frameworks.dealing with auditors four times in a year.supervisor to subordinates and training interns.

Excellent learning curve
My experience at the Department has been great so far, I learned attitude because this is the department that had faith in me in handling the job and I am handling it well so far, I lead a team of 35+ members, as thier superior they understand that they have to work and respect me as I remain assertive right through my working experience. This helps because it makes my job easier as I deal with paperwork after the site maintenance done, the paperwork I do helps them get paid on time if that doesn't happen I am the one who does follow up for my team to get paid. This involves data capturing, photocopying and handing over timesheets to paymaster for beneficiaries to be paid their stipends.

Good learning environment
-Good learning environment, acquiring and improving my GIS skills. Learning to work in a big team. I learn a lot from this big group of professionals. I enjoy working on site and regularly engaging with my colleagues about work, so that we cultivate the right mindset in workplace. The most challenging aspect of the job is that you have to be adaptable to different character traits and be professionally flexible at all times.

I am grateful Of The experience that I get at department of public works
I have experience of one year as architecture and centralized drawing archives .N6 in electrical engineering heavy current, Auto CAD, Revit faudemental auto desk in engineering
Pros: At architectural I draw the plan that they gave if it's house I apply window, wall,floor using Bim and we work as team so communication is the key
Cons: We were working from 7:30 to 16:00

Excellent Learning Opportunities
Work consisted between me doing administrator work for the department and for differently sections. From Facilities Management, Human Resources, and Finance Directorate. Had a strong relationships with each co-worker I came across and learned a greater deal. I enjoyed interacting with other client departments and site inspections. The most challenging aspect of my job was interdepartmental disputes between management. And reporting to more than one Manager.

I am enthusiastic and an ambitious person who can make crucial decisions in order to maintain mission, value and ethics for the benefit of the company. I am target driven individual that is used to work under pressure and in difficult conditions. Good learning curve
Screening programme under the department of Public works is the new programme that was initiated by the department of public works wotlrking together with the department of basic education in order to ensure safety of every learner and teacher entering the school to fight the spread spread of Corona Virus. As a screener I ensure that no individual enters the building without filling in the forms that indicate their temperature and symptoms if any.
