My working environment groomed me for my internship
We are understaffed with me being the only LRO for approximately 4500 employees. we also have limited resources. the environment is not a cooporate environment. we are also limited an opportunity to learn more about dispute resolution processes

Great learning
The day is always busy with the procurement of orders. The most challenging aspect is the time frames we are burdened with. I have learnt a lot about the supply chain industry and the importance of service delivery for the Dept. of Health. I enjoy helping my colleagues with challenges.

Excellent learning experience
I have learnt all the aspects and duties of a Public Relations officer eg writing press releases, sponsorship letters, writing stories and liasing with the media what I enjoy most about my job is that the hours are flexible, I am allowed to voice my opinion the challenges include dealing with patients complaints

Typical work day
Awesome Office Environment. The office is vibrant every single day and one who would come in and would just know why you there. We deal with Conditions of services in the HR Unit of the District office, so its more busier in the mornings From 7h30 to 13h00, but that will depend on the demand of work to be done for the day. I try and maintain a good understanding and relationship with all employees at my Department.

Deadline driven, diverse and extremelty challenges your people, team and communication skill
I manage the director in and outside the office, notifying him of meetings, cancellation newly arranged meeting and bookings. communicate and problem solve supplier quiries Problem solve end user quires and order quires on behalf of a director I learned to learn independently and to make effective decisions I enjoy the randomity and diversity of my workplace. you can never tell what will have today but things happen that challenges my thinking, decision making and problem solving skills everyday. i run the office even when my Director and deputy Director are not present.

Improved my capability in IT especially System Development
I am an IT National Diploma Graduate assertive person with passion. One of the things I've seen System Analysts professionals, System Administration and Software Developer knows in order to succeed in producing exception well analysis and software must be committed in learning and adapting to new technological advancements to stay competent so I’m keen in adapting on new methodologies and technologies. My typical work day meet clients and acquire requirement for the system development. Brainstorm findings after that I structure the database it should look like. I work on the project coding trying to meet clients requirements My relationship with co-workers is good I have learnt to manage pressure in as much how much can be piled I enjoy when presenting the system to the user and acquire more requirements The most challenging aspects of this job is work load making sure deadline are met
