Excellent learning curve

Defence is a disciplined working environment, be on time which is hard thing to keep but working with people who are disciplined and professional motivates and sharpens you as a person. Always keep a contestant communication with your superiors about work e.g. are you lacking or achieving and maintain a proper dress code. Encouraged to always study further.

Strategic Analysis Database Developed

I see myself as a fast learner, accept new challenges, and have an excellent relationship with all co-workers. In my current capacity it has given me the opportunity to give inputs and direction in the formulation of a repository where a history of Strategic Analysis Reports are saved for future reference. The principal aim of this project is to conduct a proper analysis on all Acts, Legislative and External Publication that effects the Departmental Mandate. I could also become more skilled in using MS Office. The highlight in this project was to continue as Project leader and continuously change the program. As with many other projects, the biggest hurdle to overcome is the Resistance to Change, which initially had been my greatest challenge.

Cons: Working hours can sometimes extend beyond normal hour without overtime numiration

New and exciting project

Electronic Monitoring Experience Elecrtonic monitoring of offenders that are out on parole, interaction and liasation with rhem and officers of the Correstional Services. Team work orientated and multotasking as you moght receive a call while in the middle of case. Good interpersonal skills from colleagues and it is easy when you have planned ahead your day schedule. The challenging part is when Officers of the correctional service do not understand our procedure, but with good knowledge of the project we overcome most issues.

Excellent learning curve

I have learnt a lot from Defence. They gave me opportunity to work with the team to get to know the people and department well I gave my all to the department and it has uplifted me to know myself and career goals. I'm thank full I enjoyed myself and had a good relationship with my colleagues.

I work in medical suppliers payments, paying suppliers who supply medications to the military hospital. Also paying doctors for millitery veterans and defence members including pharmacy accounts

My day works involves the administration process and including professionalism , and our relationship with other employees , I have also learn professionalism and discipline

Fast moving and steps to the challenge of economy and technological environment.

Manage the office of the director intervention Answering telephone and taking the massages of the office director intervention. Managing the dairy of the office director interventions. Preparation of the board meetings, do bookings and setup for the meeting. arrangements of the refreshments. Arrangements for flight booking, accomodation, food and allowances. Maintain confidentiality and exert decency. Ensuring the files are up to date and in order shelf and neat. In the office dealing with diversity, handling enquiries and solving disputes between the two parties. Multitasking takes place and ability to meet the deadline. Consistency kept always willing do deal with and working with diversity.
