Excellent and great experience

Working for clicks as a trainee manager was truly a learning curve on how deal with different types of people, and dealing with finances of the store I am glad to say now I have great experience when it come to business, finance, computer and sales and I would love the opportunity to receive this job.

Pros: I love to learn new things everyday

Good learning experience

It's a good company to work in, you learn more about yourself and customer service on daily basis. It teaches your discipline and patience ,But there's very little growth and hardly and opportunities for promotions.

Great place to be for entry level, acquire basic knowledge and experience within the industry.

I'd advise people to apply for start up job here and get to entry level of business. Dealing with different customers which makes you learn on how to handle situations and pressure. Working together as a team and achieving goals.

Pros: Great opportunity for practice, especially if you are studying PR and marketing
Cons: Working shifts, and long hours but you get used to it

I love good challenges

I love working with people because we have different opinions therefore once we put those opinions on the table it results to a positive response. Everyday I learn something new to me that was challenging at first until I got used to change.Every morning before entering into my work place, I tell my self that I can,i will and I shall.Im a very positive individual hungry for new skills.

Great opportunities and room for promotion

For the years I have worked at the clicks retail store I had the opportunity to learn in different departments,such as customer assistant,cashier,phamacy products,beaty products and office work.One of my best departments is the beauty counter as I love working with women and their daily needs.It is with great pleasure for me to can assist someone in the need of being beautiful and feeling comfortable in their skin.I am great in working with a team,and I do appreciate each and everyone on a daily basis.I have learned alot throughout my years in the industry and im so grateful for the opportunities I receive everyday.

Pros: We get chances to new challenges and training in different departments.
Cons: Long hours during winter time.

I currently control the products life cycle, Portfolio budgeting & divisional financial planning process by setting top-down, bottom-up targets for the Portfolio Managers and Category Managers and also to execute the overall Merchandise financial strategy by department for Sales, Stock,Margin and Gross Profit. Planning made me develop a passion for continuous improvement and also to enhance my work ethics. I genuinely enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and in cross functional teams

I did Business Manahement at False bay college Fishhoek campus. i am currently working at Clicks head office. i am preparing manually payments, preparing weekly locums payments, capturing invoices on SAP FI, matching invoices, reconsile supplier recons as well as filling. I am a very hard working person, I work fine under pressure.

My learning curve

I must be at work 15 minutes before the store opens. First thing that i do while there are no customers I clean my working area sort out the bags and be ready to work. I have a very good relationship with my colleagues, if there is a misunderstanding between me and my co-worker I make sure to resolve the issue so that we can carry on with our duties. I like to work as a team leader. I have learned that you must treat every individual with respect and communication is very important. I also learn that you must finish your task. I enjoy doing my work each and every day and I also enjoy helping my clients. I like to keep them happy so that they can come back again. The most challenging part of my my job is to deal with a difficult client because even if you are not wrong but you have to be polite and apologize to the customer.

From my experience, I am excelling in customer service growth in managing stocks process.

Clicks group is a daily growing business and a great or one of the best companies that has thee best customer service of all time. As clicks is currently the number one health home beauty and pharmacy store.

Pros: As I'm growing with in my business in taking all great steps in learning/training for being a super visor how to receive and capture stock
Cons: In my long working hours are not only about extra cash but also in reducing loads of work for the next day
