I HAVE LEARNED A LOT

i did different duties doing bin verication data capturing recently I work with kids duties visit different schools teaching them healthy life style excercise to keep their body physicaly fit work independently everything I do I record on my system then my supervisor check on weekly basis that how many schools did I visit aound Dobsonville &bramficher do monthly stats then submit to head office brfore month end relation with core workers is good What enjoy most is to work independently not being followed but r=the job is being done perfectly the most challenging is to work at schools with kids that you have to learn their characteristic and to have emphathy with them as well as their teachers and you dont visit same school on daily basis you have to go to different schools

Procurement knowledge gained

I was procurering good and services for more than 7 departments since I was working for the CIO Offices by taking responsibility of that I've managed to learn working under a stressful situation

Pros: Create purchase requisitions, purchase orders, stock request order, compliance report, attending suppliers query etc

Hard worker

Dear Sir/Madam I would like to be considered for Aministrator. I possess both strong desire to work in this field and the qualifications outlined in the position description. I have had an opportunity to work as Administration officer operating under Transformation Department of Economic Development. My previous and current employment has helped me to develop my abilities in key areas such as cashier, Receptionist, administrative support and personal assistant. My skills of providing personal assistant and administrative support have been, by far, the most commendable feature of my career. Additionally, my time management and organizational skills are above the par which makes it easy for me to use my expertise to successfully and consistently meet the deadlines.

very busy municipality,working well with my collegue. i have learned a lot such as hr recruitment,administration,leave REQUEST OF ADVERTISING VACANT POSTS BOTH INTERNAL / EXTERNAL.  RECEIVE APPLICATIONS BY EMAILS, FAX, HAND DELIVERY AND POST OFFICE.  CAPTURE ALL APPLICATION ON A DATA BASE.  MANAGING ADMINISTRATION OF SHORTLISTING PROCESSES.  INFORM THE PANEL AND CANDIDATES THAT ARE SHORTLISTED ABOUT VENUE, DATE AND TIME FOR THE INTERVIEWS.  ARRANGE LOGISTIC AND REFRESHMENT FOR INTERVIEWS.  ARRANGE AND AVAIL INTERVIEW PACKS TO THE PANELS IN TIME.  CHECK REFERENCES, CREDIT RECORD ETC.  DEVELOP APPOINTMENT LETTERS FOR THE APPOINTED CANDIDATE.  ISSUE OUT THE APPOINTMENT LETTER TO THE RECOMMENDED CANDIDATE FOR THEIR ACCEPTANCE OR REJECTION.  ARRANGE FOR INDUCTION OF NEWLY APPOINTED EMPLOYEES.  ENSURE THAT NEW EMPLOYEES ARE PAID ON TIME

I am a hardworking and trustworthy individual who strive for perfection

I constantly working with various stakeholders and making sure that I exceed in achieving their expectation. I work well with all my co-workers and I have learned to appreciate that people are different in their own way. It is not one size fits all you have to approach people differently after you have accessed their needs. I enjoy most working with the whole lot of different clientele as they unearth the best in me irrespective of their difficulty sometime. The most challenging aspect of my job is when a client come to me with a problem and it takes longer for the problem to be solved, as I mostly depend on sister department for solving of their problem. Other department have their standard operation procedures that can delay things sometimes.

Pros: It is very encouiraging as you get to interact with various stakeholdres from different background
Cons: Get to be labelled as lazy public servant as there is a tendency that public servant are less effective, ifficient and less economical

Excellent working experience

WORKING AT A CITY OF JOBURG CLINIC Managing a clinic and seeing 500 to 600 sick patients daily. As a people's person I enjoy my work with clinic staff,visitors and my patients and clients. I enjoy the pressure accompanying my job. Challenges are staff shortages, no relevant equipment sometimes and absenteeism.

Excellent learning curve

Great relationship with the colleagues. i've learned lot of things especially the different investigative techniques and analytical skills. i enjoyed mostly to write a good and successfull investigation report and the presentation to senior executives. i also enjoyed the training of employees about the fraud and corruption/ anti-fraud training. The most challenging aspects of the investigation work is to interview a person who does not cooperate.

Pros: To meet with Senior Executive now and then and conducting prevention and detection reviews.

Manage the procurement of services and goods • Ensuring compliance with Supply Chain Management regulations, policies and procedures • Ensuring all Vendor are on the Supply Chain Management database • Facilitating approval of procurement requisitions by the Group CFO’s office. • Ensuring submission of procurement documents • Monitoring consumables levels and filing requisitions • Ensuring equipment are in good and working order • Ensuring compliance with Councils Fleet Policy Manage departmental requests and complaints • Ensuring that departmental requests are resolved within agreed timeframes • Reporting any unresolved issues to the Group CFO. • Managing correspondences relating to requisition received/sent

The need to introduce Succession planning and link to career path

City of Joburg is a dirvese and learning organization, that allows a person to learn new challenges. it a politically driven organization, it encourages you to serve your community well do the best and provide a good service to them. They need to look after the HR employees, people got the assumption that if you are in the HR department you are well-taken care, where it is the other way round. They believe External employees first.

Cons: There is no succession planning policy
