Working with customers giving them best service, team work is what makes a good cashier.I have learned that putting customers first is what is making the customer wants to come back for ur service, greeting them with a smile is good for customer service

Excellent learning curve and communication learning and responsibility
Working there is a great experience you get to meet new people everyday Although there are challanges some customers can be difficult because the come in different pair or individuals with different minds but a smile regardless of anything can get you ou of trouble or fix you day its the best way todel with difficult customers and the others. My colleagues get along very well with eachother and me we always advise each othe about work staff like for instance some are scared to go do quotations but we always inspire each other about learning from our mistakes and tech each other about all that is around us,everyday we teach each other glass cutting it seems difficult honestly and some of us are struggling but slowly getting better each day.

Teamwork. customer service. sale driver.
As a retail assistant manager I have a staff to coordinate. Sales to reach a budget. If I can't make it inside I must go out to meet new client.I'm always hungry to learn new things. The challenge is that you can't make it as manager alone you need staff.but for them to stay u need to manage them and provide training for them to reach the target.
Pros: i will say training given by u will help them get somewhere.and by doing so target will be reached and opportunities will appear.
Cons: i dnt mind working long hours i care about reach my target and reword.

I learnt alot from this company, from cashing up, deliveries and so on
Its a company that gives the staff alof opportunities to grow, it takes care of its staff.It teaches the staff to work independently by teaching them alot of things. I was a cashier but I knew alot of things taught by my supervisor. Its a beatiful company to work for except that there is some evil management that will make your life a living hell. Management that doesnt follow work ethics nd you are not suppose to voice out your issues because if u do so, u get fired.

Expirience
Cashbuild is a hardware selling hardwate and construction matirial. I was privepidged to have worked there and gained sobmuch expirience. Everyday is a hard working day because there is always a customer that needs something or even sometimes tries to be impossible The people i worked with is verry friendly and can sometimes make you feel as if you are not at work. That helps alot.

One get to grow within the company
Build cutomer service, management training, supervising cashiers at the tills, dealing with difficult customers. I get to file creadit payment, banking, remittance advice. It is very challenging job cause you get to multi task, while busy with paper work you also have to attend to custoners and the paper work need to be done at a time frame given. Making sure that the store is ready for business before the next day. Dealing with difficult staff members making sure they get their work done in time.
Pros: Great opportunity cause you get to grow within the company

It's a 6 to 5 working hours flexible The relationship with my co-workers is a positive one I have learned to respect the companys image by presenting myself in a good way I enjoy getting a target and also inter acting with customers Most challenging aspects are having to deal with heavy products and trying to make a customer happy at one I enjoy the pay day and i enjoy selling what i know to a customer I enjoy how communicative we are as a team in the floor and the relationship between management and general workers is a healthy one I enjoy to see a customer coming out or in a shop with a smile expecting a quality service and getting it at the end of the day

Store Manager at Beares Furniture and Cashbuild for more than 4 years, have good managerial skills and like to service customers. I have learnt that the priority is to make sure that if you help a customer they need to come back because of your excellent service

learning curve
Cashbuild has groom me as a person ,I got there with no experience but now I have learned to tackle different task, sometimes its very challenging to deal with day to day problems but I've learned to deal with challenges in a smart way,I always take a deep breath to keep calm ,I'm currently working as goods receiving supervisor, but I also take part as a people's person ,people's person is to make sure u deal with staff problems and management and customer complaints and that is very challenging but I handle that very ,when I'm irritated I always breath to calm my self ,we deal with staff absenteeism, taking minutes for both forum and care meetings ,disciplinary actions.
Pros: was a cashier now I'm promoted as a goods receiving supervisor
