it is a good place to learn and to grow as an individual and also to learn a team work, pressure is always on. mostly because it is a diverse organization, different people from different backgrounds, different cultures and different behavior but all under one company culture.

Apartheid company
Builders its a huge company but you wil not survive if your not white. Its still full of apartheid. Senior positions are held by white people. Its a good company for your starter pack as an indivual who is stil trying to find their way around life. Bt its not a place were u can wish to stay for the reat of your life. The development is very slow unless your white

Am a good character
Am I a good character cause in every thing that I do I always put in all I can. Am very skillful as well an again I also try an show that when ever I get a chance. By me being part of the organization I will make sure every task given to me I fulfill it in the beat of my abilities. A good character a good communicator, a good team builder.

Good company you learn but lot of over stretching short staff and we not rewarded and recognised.Working long hours yes........................................ Builders warehouse lot of agent worker's have been working the for many years but not registered

Ive growing evet since I started here. self developing myselft through education.
It's good company to work for. Growth depend on the individual. Took me under 6 months to be perm staff which is a great achievement. Over and above working under management with no management certificate is very difficult as manager is not skilled as I am.

I'm gaining working at under pressure
As I'm working at builders warehouse the things that I have learned is to share your own views with other people and make commitment to improve something. What I like most at work is to do my work to be the best without comparing me to others and like to finish what have I started before the end of the time. Sometimes most of the challenges at work that I have ever seen, it is like when I work at under pressure to finish my work and at the end of the month you find out that they didn't gave me all my payment for the hole month and when I raised that issue they don't do anything about it so for me what I want is to do my work and get all my payment so that we can have a good communication

Exposure to strategic HR
Excellent exposure to HR development and stragic planning. A typical work day starts at 07:45 and ends at 17:00. Two weekends off in a calender month. Relationships with co-workers is more informal. I learned to conduct training on my own. Manual processes is time consuming. Like counting flexi normal and perm overtime.

Cover letter
As my cover letter is attached to my resume. My skills will be a benefit to the company as im able to run a whole store following polcies and procedure and process flows running to standard. It is important to ensure the admin side of business aswell financial side is managed accordinly so that the general manager can focus on sales and profit.
