Learning Curve

I have learned a lot in Bokoni Platinum Mine and I can even say I'm ready to can be the HRD Manager judging from all the things I have learned. If I can get an opportunity to can refer anyone to this mine I will do so as they have good leadership experience and very good when coming to development of their employees. The culture of this mine is suitable for everyone.

Excellent learning curve

Working in Bokoni Platinum Mine for me is privileged cause I managed to learn more than needed and to experience lot of things in my working environment. The people I'm working with they are so willing and very much respectful and helpful, What I enjoyed most is when we do our work more interesting by teaching each other what we know best ,that most challenging aspects of the job is when you find the negative people that will not help you even if you are overloaded with work, those who doesn't want to work as team.

Excellent learning curve

I managed to change the reporting system on my arrival. I assist chief planner with reports and life of mine schedule. I am currently the MRM System Administrator and production tracker.

Exposure to supervisory duties

my contrbution to your company will b to achieve safe safe productive shift daily. i m open to constructive critisism. willing to listen to peoples ideas in conjuction with company objectives . work is always first. care must b given to fellow employees. equal treatment to all employees. to be fair at all times. respectful workforece who enjoy care from their supervisor ,who obey their instruction are always productive. they show loyaty to their supervisor by rewaeding them with production. being part of solution to proplems and solving them. winning at all times. achieve targets safety and production. earn respect of fellow supervisor s and workers

I have learnt the importance of team work and discipline

Maintenance, installation of electrical equipment Team work and safety of collegues I have learnt the importance of team work and discipline Repairing electrical equipment To repair equipment in the shortest time because I have to follow safety rules

Pros: limited due to number of employee been for years in the same position
Cons: Working for long hours and callouts and shift is not a problem to me

I enjoyed working for the company

I enjoyed my ER job most importantly the nature of work which is not routine, everyday when I go to work I would encounter a different senario which needed a different approach. Managing absenteeism was very difficult and challenging especially sick leave abuse , since the company employed people from as far as eastern cape,Lesotho,Mozambique etc it was always the case that certain employees every time when went the home they wouldn't come on the exact date , they would extend their days submitting sicknotes which became a trend. Most challenging thing about my job was that information was working at home whereby the majority of the employees where local as me, so when you dealt with an issue at work it would escalate to home since we were from the same community.

Pros: the structure was very flat we reached the ceiling
Cons: Bokoni was more concerned about production that hours

I am a hard-working person who has excellent communication with good listening skills .

I am the best team leader that work with my coworkers nicely and they like me because we are working with team , I enjoy the charging up a lot when I work with a blasting assistance, the job is challenging when my co-workers is absent.

More advanced payroll function

It's a very challenging situation whereby you work with different kinds of people from different cultures, handling payroll queries teaches you lot of things because is more than what you think,it include more department .Processing, garnishes,face funeral claims,dealing with beneficiaries also not good as you have to be careful and do ur own investigation
