Not one day are the same as client needs differ I get along with all peers and subordinates- well liked by all Never to get stuck in a rut - go out there and make it happen yourself I am liking all varieties at the office - as shared - not one day are the same I would say the most challenging aspect - not to accept no as answer to all - if you believe it will be beneficial - work harder to prove it will

Very hard work

Very stressful and underpaid. Working hours are long and you need to be very flexible. Good company benefits especially when you reach management level but it does take hard work and dedication to get there.

Excellent learning curve

-wonderful working hours I maintain a great workings relationship with my co-workers I have learnt to work under extreme pressure I enjoy learning new stuff from my different customers The most challenging aspect is when i try to understand international languages but i i find a way to eventually communicate with them

My job at Bidvest Car Rental

I have been with my current company for the last 9 year and almost everyday I face exciting challenges. I have started as a junior in our operations department and through my hard work, loyalty and dedication I have grown to a senior, team leader and to an account manager. I work very well with my co-workers and we have healthy competition which pushes us to stay on top of thing. We learn a lot from each other and always will to help wherever we can. What I enjoy most of my job is meeting new people on a daily basis and the opportunity to travel as I am a very outgoing person. The most challenging part of my job is getting my clients to complete our applications as most of the only do so at board meetings.

Pros: Travel (educationals with clients), year end bonus

Day to day environment

A typical work day would be prepering and planning of the day, so we have a smooth day delivering of vehicles, assisting clients in branch with signing up of contracts. Dropping and Collecting cars at our regional depot. Doing admin work before the end of day answering of the telephone. The working environment was the best to be in energetic fun and getting the work done on time.

Learn fast

My day to day work is to make sure clients walk out of the office smiling, I do like being my co-workers because they do help when there is where I don't understand, at Bidvest Car Rental I've learnt that when you work together you must treat each other as a family working together makes a job to be very easy, the things that I've enjoyed the most is when I first arrived at the office where everyone was happy to meet me first thing that made happy is when one of the co-workers was telling me how good impression I will make, the most challenging aspects I came across was when we have to find all the cars that were missing and we made sure that we find them before the shift can end.

Excellent Learning experience

Have had lots of growth here! Enjoyed my time learning new processes and different means of getting tasks done. Would recommend the company automates more of the processes done manually to save man power and time.

Excellent learning curve

Big company but under staffed, the communication between branches and head office is lacking. The is not much incentives to give employees motivation. Most work is allocate to car rental agents in smaller branchea but the title and salary does not change.

Pros: Great opportunity to network and meet people
Cons: Shift based which makes the times akward
