Excellent learning experience
I work under Anova as a phlebotomy nurse to take blood I am placed at a clinic to do that but as s nurse I end up doing other jobs that are in my scope of practice not just taking blood it get hectic I sometimes knock off too late because of a lot of patients there is always something to do I work Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 16:00. I would like to further my studies but I can't since I work every day and they only offer 30 days study days. Medical aid is also being deducted from that 12000. It's a nice place to learn more work though. The managers are hard to communicate with because they are always rude.

I did my job well
I was answering calls most of the day.i was having good relationship with my co-workers.during the week i was suppose to send parcels and do invoices.i was working under pressure some few days because we need to reach our target.i was writing minutes. Do stock taking.i learn to be patient with other workers.i need to listen and understand what are they saying.to be professional and to be confidential person.

Excellent learning opportunity
Excellent company to work for. Although it's a Not for profit organization, it is very goal driven, result oriented and high performance organization. The company focuses on impacting and improving the health of people infected by HIV and TB.

Great learning curve, eye opener
Great company to work for, open for growth within the company, management is very supportive even if its contractual basis,salary is also market related basis but no bonuses, training is also excellent with transportation money been reimbursed.

Temporary / consultant job. Logistics and Office Manager
staff are not qualified nor dedicated. it is just a job. HR are almost non-existent and cannot handle the pressure of the work. New staff pay HR recruiting managers to get in. Not the right staff for the job and it takes too long to train them. It just seems that there is too much chaos from HR to Finance to Procurement. A typical day - no rest for the wicked. from the time you walk into the office you are inundated with work calls and planning - to me this was good as i cannot sit idle. but, it takes its toll. I enjoy the running about and ensuring that everything is in place, that staff know what to do - to plan their day ahead.

Adaptability and customer service orientated
Typical work day involves collecting files from Nurses and other members of the HIV testing team and capturing all information, analyse and report but also helping with the front desk and all other admin related activities. What i have learnt is to be more patient with the public and also empathetic What I enjoy most is seeing people /public appreciate the service you give and them being assisted on time The most challenging aspects of my job is seeing a child passing away due to non or late treatment due to lack of information from the parents.

Great Accountability and service for community
Great Accountability and service for the community I am responsible for the support of the Ward Based outreach teams and CBO dealing with HIV and TB within the community of Sedibeng District. I coordinate and support activities aimed at aiding on the 90 90 90 strategies of the Government to curb the spread of HIV. I am a team player and relate very well to my co-workers and always willing to help with the betterment of the work. In this position, I have learned the value of accountability and how to market health services whilst making clients aware of the benefits of taking care of their own health. I enjoy working with people and learning new strategies to attend to their needs. The most challenging aspect of my job is to see people registering with wrong addresses and house numbers, therefore making it hard for them to be traced for further treatment

Excellent learning curve
My experience at Anova gave me exposure to new content knowledge in the broad area of HIV and AIDS programmes as well as technical skills through shared experiences with a multidisciplinary team of colleagues.
