We work from a system called Remedy. I m the first tonaarive of my team and if there any urgent calls in the queue, I administer it to prevent my service level agreement to do down as well as my tems. We have a great relationships. We assist each other with difficult investigations. We share information I have learnt new skills in my time at Vodacom. Project management, running sprints, delegating tasks evenly. Building relationships with support departments. Integration with systems, understanding and providing feedback of failures. I enjoy when I'm called in to do analys by doing reporting, stats and providing feedback. Challenging would be not being able to resolve certain investigations myself which leads to receiving help

Good learning Experience

Its a delivery driven unit, with fast pace changes. Excellent team work and collaboration between permanent staff and contracting staff. I have gained more knowledge about Identity and Management (Security Aspect) I have also gained knowledge about Privilege Access Management. I have also gained knowledge about managing Software Development Projects. I enjoy working with teams members with more diverse set of skills. Most challenging aspects of the the job, is working rolling out new application to different parts of the business, its challenging to get buy in especially from the networks and security team.

Thought me alot about different work environments

working there feels like i am there for more that 5 years and i recently got transferred from cellc to there which showed me how different the two companies are and how well one works with who they hire.I enjoy working with people and that is the only thing that I love which is working with people and talking and learning new things everyday

I am motivated and Hardworking.

I am Kholofelo Teffo. I am currently doing system support, business Continuity Management, and more . My day always start with a stand up meeting at 7:00 where we share the Environment management issues of we have any problems with the server / infrastructure issue, also check any application issues test and if all is well we continue with the day. Who is driving pressing issues that need to be escalated . Start with the review of the incident report and any issues with categorasation of incident we address with the incident management. Look at the list of issues that I am driving and follow up with respective team. As we Re currently going agile I review changes and make sure if they addressed the issue and test cases are available and business has approved and they were informed and proper hand over has been conducted.

Pros: As much as we do everything, we learn a lot in terms of service management. SLA and prioritisation of issues
Cons: I need to grow.

Assertive product development coupled with Integrations with financial service providers. Managing teams and stakeholders a cross multiple domains. Also involved in business casing for various new products. Pricing and commission structures development also key in current role

Spreading my wings

I love working with people and have enjoyed my stay and growth at Vodacom but I believe its time to render and pursue a new job. I have been working for Vodacom from my days as a learner and believe its now time to explore what the world can offer.

Excellent exposure to technology , service and people

A typical day a work is keeping in contact with current customers calling or visiting to either ensure all is well , to upgrade or offer new add ons . Working as a team is imperative for the success for unit , have to be able to communicate , share and build on ideas and strategies . During my time at the company i have learnt about the impact of the coming 4 industrial revolution , change , peoples wants , service delivery , I enjoy and feel fulfilled when i have a happy and satisfied customer. Most challenging aspects are when their is a breakdown in communication between myself , head office or help desk agents and clients .

Pros: Learn new stuff everyday , meet new people
Cons: Difficult to find time for family and friends ,

Good communicatin skills,team player,can analyze problems

well basically here i deal with customers on a daily basis,deal with contracts,sim swops,upgrades,direct sales,manage stock,deal with complaints and stuff like that,working with my team is the best thing ever as we get along well and i enjoy ever minute of it when am with them,i have many things here such as being computer literate

Presentable

Working in Vodacom was a good start for me coz I really enjoyed every moment of it .and I love this thing called costomer it always right .remember if you don't give a costomer trust and correct information then we call it poor service.my cholics were very supportive people ever and we used to tell each other our problem especially personal one And then we pray together .the challenge that I was facing is that moment were u asked manager to order you a device and the next thing the device its back order and I told the costomer on Wednesday and suddenly costomer its here to collect

Pros: U always in control
Cons: 10 hours a day
