My day to day job i sorting out the stock room making sure there is enought space for the stovk that's coming in. I work well with my colleagues, i have learned that to get a job done and quickly you need planning. I enjoy wworking my colleagues. Challenging aspects are working with people who are not willing to gt their job done and working with difficult customers.

The company holds a good record of service but very poor at paying its stuff memebers
the seniour management dont have a good approach to stuff memebers always shouting in front of customers,as i have worked greatly with my juniours with great understanding to wards each other with relevent delegation of work.

Excellent learning curve
Planning weekly promotions,making sure the floor is packed neatly & KVI lines are all available,making sure staff is wearing their uniform properly,dealing with merchandisers & reps,checking daily reports & weekly stocktakes e.g. cigarettes recons,service dept stocktakes.holding shrinkage meetings with staff,dept supervisors,securities & managers,working through our monthly budgets meeting deadlines.

Eager to work
I enjoy helping customers and I enjoy to learn new things, I also enjoy teaching others what I learnt, i also like to help where I can the bad thing is you work long hours and suddenly your hours are cut and so does your salary decrease, the management always tells you to speak about your problems at work but when u do you are the wrong one

I am a nice down to earth and a very corporative person, so its easier foe anyone to work with me.
I am a nice down to earth and a very corporative person, so its easier foe anyone to work with me. I enjoy working more hours and I have learned that, at work place you have to put your work first everything must be up to date. The only challenge I had is that I don't talk too much so much time you have to be more confident and stand your ground when working with different people.

I like working with people, if you give people love they will return it 3x more and that is the thing I feel good about. We help each other, stuff is friendly and everyone is happy.

Fast learner & can work under pressure
A typical day at work was sorting out the stock room and make sure that the sales floor was full at all times and to off-load the delivery trucks and pack stock in the stock room. My relationship with my co-workers was a good relationship and worked well together. I learned how to off-load stock from the delivery trucks and to work under pressure and how handle a single aisle on my own. I enjoyed working with my co-workers and manager because they were very friendly and not very uptight. The challenging aspects of the job was to off-load +- 5 delivery trucks with 14 pallets or more and to remove it from the rolling belt and pack it again in the stock room, but I got used to it at the end.

Excellent learning curve
Working for Shoprite was the most challenging and at the same time funny. Iam running the biggest store in our region worth 1920 sqm with more than 320 employees including permanents and parttime....with 4 Assistant Managers and 1 junior manger and 5 trainees. Running a R180m turnover store wasn't easy but with good communication and descipline between manahent and stuff made it a huge success. We had one aim or sloggan in our company or store that "no customer may leave our store unhappy", we must always go an extra mile to please our customers as they are the ones who's paying us.

Great experience
It is such a great experience as we sometimes come accross with difficult customers and what I like most is that we always reach agreement.I have a really good relationship with my coligue
