I work as a security officer and I work night shift duty. I am responsible for the safety of the client's assets, and I have learned that it is very much imperative to be flexible on the site, and be on time in every shift. I and my colleagues we give each other support where is necessary and encouragement on their due season, because we know that life is full of ups and down so you always have to take your colleagues as your siblings. As we are working we come across some difficulties such as breakings and shoplifting but we manage to minimize every criminal offenses by being alert all the time.

Pros: Great opportunity in a recommended position

GREAT, BUT MANAGEMENT IS BIAS

I LOVE MY JOB AND WHAT I DO, BUT I HATE WORKING WITH SOME PEOPLE HERE. THEY ARE MERELY MANAGERS BUT BEHAVE LIKE THEY OWN THE COMPANY. THEY GIVE THE COMPANY A BAD NAME

Has been a great place to learning admin work

it has been a very big learning experience which has lead me to be skilled in admin and has thought me the fundamentals of offices practices and work , because what you learn at school and doing the work its self is totally a different experience.

Pros: monthly salary guranteed
Cons: no opportunities for promotion

Excellent learning curve

Work long hours however we have a great relationship with our co-workers, working in this position i've learnt a lot especially when it comes to customer service as i work with a lot of contractors and suppliers. What i enjoy the most is meeting people from different companies who hold positions that are almost similar to mine as i learn from them as well, the most challenging aspect of the job is working long hours, dealing with difficult/moody clients and being under paid for it.

Pros: None, except that it's a well knowned company.
Cons: No opportunity for growth

Excellent company to work for

I was a receptionist at Fidelity Security for two months and was promoted to fleet administrator. I enjoy working in the transport division and have learned alot. I get along very good with my fellow employees and we work together as a great team.

Been in a control room or call centre space you deal with different people therefore you need to have self and emotional control to achieve day by day challenge the best of the great work pays a lot am looking forward to hear from you soon I have all basic skills to achieve and bring change if needed to the best of my ability

Good environment to get experience

I'm a 33 year old African female who sees herself obtaining a management diploma in the coming 5 years. I'm eager to learn new things and I work well in a group and work well under pressure. I quick learner and can relate easily with my working environment

Pros: Teaches me how deal with different people and to understand their needs, great opportunity to learn how to lead and how the security industry works

I am well respectful individual been prepared to upgrade company policies where is necessary

i'm doing security job all day and inspection of fire arm to other officers,im to familiar with my co workers i treat them as one bing family with respect,i've learnt alot from my previous company even with the upgradation or promotion on site,i enjoy the the most when we don't encounter silly incident while prepared to perform the job accurately,the challenging aspect is when we told our self that we want to do our job excellently only we got nothing good was performed

Pros: when performing job accordingly you deserve promotion
Cons: it depends how big is the job but minimum of 24hours

Great Company

It is a great company to work for but not that much growth opportunity. I work well with my colleagues and there is respect from both sides. Everyday brings new challenges. I have learned new procedures and ways on the distribution of Beverages, Safety, Business Audits and Security Complexity. The DPO Business Audits was the most challenging parts as all needs to be in its place and after each Audit you learn where to improve in your own department. There are strict Policies and Procedures in place to ensure Safety and Security has minimal to no gaps. I enjoyed working with my colleagues the most as they are always willing to assist where necessary and walks the extra mile with me.

Pros: Great learning curve
Cons: Low Salary class for Security.
