Company was good, is just that were on contract. My duties are: data capturing, closing production order number after being use, creating purchase requisition for raw material and consumable, capture stock take, filing, transfer load from delivery area into tanks, capturing fermented, fermenting, blend and filter tanks. We were all doing the above on SAP system. What I love is our boss was so supportive and appreciate the good job well done.

Priority in the face of complexity:
As an entry level Packaging Manager, I acquired knowledge in Production Variances and the importance of managing waste in order for the business to remain financially fit. The SLAs guides the department to ensure it remains efficient through ensuring all service departments are held accountable for delivering on the promise. Interpersonal relations particularly with critical support departments like Engineering must be harnessed to ensure reliability is optimized for throughput requirements. Juggling many variables and ensuring priority is given to quality, safety and morale has been most exciting and challenging at the same time.

Cons: High staff turn around resulting in excess vacancies, excessive use of unskilled contracted labour pool, very complex environment with over 50 SKUs

Sampling and analysing for micro and chemical
Calibrating all the machines that i am going to use through out the day. Verifying the instruments Registering samples Start the analysis required Reporting the results to the system And do 5S

Alway like to learn from everybody
Hi to start my email i am a loyal worker for Distell for 3 and a halve years my reason for leaving is I'm looking for a better opportunity in a other company in my 3 and a halve years i did every thing for the company and they never saw the things i did in my years at Distell i never yo sick and I'm always a hour before i start work on my duties and left every night the last one who left work and when i apply for a higher positions someone else getting the work Distell is a nice company to work for but I'm reddy to move on Regards Douglas

Operational Environment
I am a member of the leadership team on site and I manage the second largest department. My role is mostly operational, with little autonomy given to the site. I enjoy the pace but ideally i would like to be involved on a more strategic level.

Job description
client liasation internal and external training of subordinates interns, temps and analysts competency evaluation for all staff (write documents that is not in place) for methods problem solving in own area of responsibility and assist other areas team meetings held daily and address issues as they arise projects identified in the area that can prevent recurrence of non conformances

Excellent learning curve
I enjoy using both my practical and theoretical knowledge at my job. I work well with a team.my day includes: mini business meeting, production plan for the day, organise raw material, ensure the smooth run of the process, conducts one point lessons and compile variance reports. I get along very well with my colleagues.

Good working environment
Distell was a great company to work for and I got along very well with my co workers. It was an 8 to 5 job and had its own challenges when it came to walk in customers as they needed service immediately. I really learnt a lot from the company when it came to sense of urgency and ensuring I give the best customer service

Learning curve
Great company to work for. Too much growth. Exiciting Work life balance. Have learnt to work under pressure and also how to build a good working relationships with colleques and customers. Have learnt to achieve my set targets set by management. The most challenging part js you get to driving long hours and working on holidays.
