A good placer to begin your working life

At WNS People mind their own, Not motivated or driven from staff to higher level, yet again that's just an opinion. No equal level of communication amongst staff or colleagues. The workload is crazy but the product is very technical so you get to learn a lot. The experience is exhaustive because though most stuff is young and bubbly the attitude towards the work principles of the company lacks because there is not much motivation given to members of staff, no engagement, no incentives, no equality, just work work work

Working there taught me to be able to be a team player.

There are good days and bad day because I was dealing with different people from different backgrounds.I had a good relationship with my team leader and my co workers it was a fun enviroment,I did learn a lot,data.capturing and also learnt to be patiant.Reason I left I was not not paid enough,Sundays I was not paid for and public holidays.

Pros: I gained experience for customer service and data capturing also working at a call centre.
Cons: My salary was too small.

Learning

We worked as a team and I have a good relkationship with my co-workers I like to worke as a team and also individual I enjoyed most when we out on the team buildings we are having a lot of fun.I dont have any challenges because i put a lot effort on my work.

I am Majedie Taliep . I am very talkative and motivate person. I am well organized and disciplined.

I have a very good personality therefore I learn to adapt to different things easily. I’m willing to go for any challenge as a learning curve, I believe if work is not challenging then it certainly won’t be motivating. I am willing to challenge myself with any work within the environment. My notice period would be minute notice and the reason why I want to leave is for a new experience. My current job title is Customer Service Professional at WNS working on the British Gas Business campaign. Dealing with billing of customer accounts, electric and gas metering issues, taking payments etc. Worked in various departments within British Gas Business such as complaints, floor support and leadgen coaching.

Pros: Salary is ok, but could be better for the type of clients we deal with. Friendly staff
Cons: late hours as it is s UK company. No provident fund or 13th cheque or bonus

Ideal for starters

The culture at WNS is suitable for development and industry debutants . Bonuses are mostly very good but salaries and yearly increments are poor. Performance evaluation systems are ineffective , ops processes and procedures are restrictive and lack agility. There is a massive culture gap contributing to a lack of cohesiveness and effeciency. High degree of difficulty for non whites to break into senior management positions. Policies are designed to oppress staff. Not much Pro staff initiatives in place . If you are starting your career then WNS is the ideal place for you. Seasoned professionals wont stay long.

Very good

Cover letter I completed matric in 2013 and am currently looking for a position that will challenge me. Getting into facilities seemed a challenge at first.

Everyday starts with a site walk.. Looking at was the place cleaned during the night by the cleaners. Ever inch of the place. Checking up on maintanance issues and such. I had an opportunity to learn about everything in the facilities industry. Health and Safety inductions was part of my job and most enjoyable as u are the first person to speak to new employees about the building they will be working in.. This is a call centre industry and dealing with all these different characters different religions and cultures is amazing and a challenge in itself. But that is why I enjoy most. It difficult to satisfy everybody though and when there are comaints you have to carefully consider your options not at all easy all the time. But working here gave me alot of experience with people. And I learned alot more about the industry.

Good learning curve

WNS is a one of those companies I'll never recommend to anyone. If you are desperate for a salary I'll point you in that direction. I have never been so ill treated and never felt so much stress and pressure. I love working with customers and I love working being busy but not at the company I'm currently at. A typical work day would be 96+ inbound calls a day. Two 15 minute breaks and half an hour lunch. There is no time for talking as the calls are streaming in. If you 8 minutes late from your break you sign a warming and if you excel at your fcr 100% you are penalised for the AHT no matter if it's the client whom you are assisting isn't as technical educated. I have a brilliant relationship with my colleagues. I have learnt so much from telkom. My client skills has improved in so many aspects.

Good learning experience

Good company to work for to get exposu as BPO industry is a high paced environment to work in re. Overall the company is good to work for.bfor experience within any working environment.
