New challenges each day

Working for WBHO gives you that proud feeling, working for the biggest construction company in South Africa! Therefore you will always have work, the downside is that these work is in places all over Africa. Traveling a lot, 7 sites in 4 years. A typical work day will start off with an 6am site meeting, discussing production, safety and goals to be reached, also what plant is needed where. After the meeting everybody scatters out to their various sections doing paperwork and getting the work going. Then there is not enough minutes in a day before you know it, the day is gone with so much work still left to do, seeing everybody already left site while its already 8pm.

Experience a lot

I worked on site as person who studied cost and management accounting I enjoy to be exposed to production side. I worked on Blue where you process all online invoices and on Candy for manual invoices. Using Salary Waged system to obtain employees working hours.

Crane truck code 10 + forklift operator 10t

Good Day Mam/Sir , I Trust you are well . I'm an experienced warehouse supervisor, I have a code 10. License + PDP ,I also have a 10 ton hyster license and more than 8 years of experience loading and offloading trucks ,trailer, containers, warehouse stacking ,receiving, despatching, pulling of orders ,vehicle maintenance ,data capture and processing of documents. Learned how to work on a system that is being used in the real world

dA typical work include arriving at work around 8am. Meet and greet while having breakfast. At 8:15 then actual work begins. Depending on whether I have completed my task I will continue with it otherwise I will ask my manager for new work. At 11am its a Scrum for about 10 - 15 minutes. Then lunch is at 1pm. Knockoff is at 4:30. The relationship amongst the collegues is great because all senior workers are always keen to assist so is the manager. I have learnt to be vocal when I am stuck because the longer I stay quiet, the more I lose time. The best highlight is the introduction of a system called The Green Card facilitated by the Helpdesk. After each month, deliverables are reviewed and whoever finished their deliverable quickers gets a day off for the following month. The most challenging aspect was adapting and learning a new software that is being in the company.

Excellent learning curve

I enjoyed my job at WBHO from day 1. I learned a lot about the industry and met a lot of people. Although I worked very long hours, it was extremely rewarding. I got along very well with my seniors as well as co-workers.

Excellent learning

I was the section leader,safety Rep and supervisor in my team,I was control traffic from one bound to another, installing road sign and changing sticker. We were writing all accident report and taking photos so that we can help the police on the investigation.

Great exposure and growth

Great company to work for with excellent support structures in place. Site tends to have unpredictable o there’s a lot to learn and people are always willing to teach. Everyday there’s pressurevccurrences h

this is a nice place to learn work. To gain experience and advance in the construction industry. I've learned to be a leader in this company. The most challenging is stubborn employees refusing to take safety as a priority on industry

Lots of room for growth as well as training

My name is Keletso Mayisa I have a honours degree in Civil Engineering, I think I am a perfect candidate for this company because I have worked on various projects in the construction industry from Roads, Earthworks, Buildings as well as Pipelines. I’ve learnt alot of crucial skills at WBHO as well as other companies which I still utilise. Thus I think this makes for a versatile employee and a good candidate to consider hiring.
