Good working experience

As Administration student assistant I work mostly with Student Leadership and their sub-structures. It is very interesting working with the SRC as there is something new everyday. Being at Student Affairs has contributed a lot in my professional growth and has thought me so many skills into handling situations as they rise. My colleagues are kind, humble and dedicated into developing our students in every way. I have learnt to be independent, to think on my toes and to make decisions that may not only affect me but my students. challenging so far are the strikes but l do understand where the students come from.

Pros: There is great opportunity for growth and to study further

Hard worker

I’m a problem solver down to earth. And updated with the new features of technology and recent error problem solving. I’m bit lazy for other things not related to IT. I love everything that has to do with electricity. I enjoy driving, exercising as my hobbies and playing games. At work I was a bit bored like it was not that busy or have to work under pressure so I had no challenges from there most of my seniors looked at me as good student as I had close relation with them. They wanted to learn most of the things I knew. Salary was a bit small as we were paid per hours of R52

Exciting and interesting learning moment

working at WSU was one of big moments in my life time since it was my first in the field of work from school. the experience was good because working with people is what I love the most so helping students was good to me. I work very well with a team as well I'm working alone I push my self to meat my targets and cut off dates.

Excellent chance to mentor students and remind myself of my modules

As PAL Leader I had to mentor students in their Development Software, Technical Programming, IT Skills and System Software modules. I would normally arrange days to meet with students and discuss topics they are facing troubles with (sometimes teach the whole module). This whole experience helped me with my people skills and overcoming the fears of talking to crowds.

Pros: Connecting with students from different backgrounds and learning abilities
Cons: Having to work more than the prescribed hours

Excellent communication

I worked as a creditors intern for the period of 12 months.i like working with people.i consider myself as a teamplayer, because i can work with different people and i believe it is easy to achieve something when people work as a group and communicate well.i am motivated my meeting creditors needs using my experiance.

I am unemployed at the moment.

When I was working at TFM and Fabkomp as a trainee, I have learnt a lot about the mechanical application into reality, and now I am ready to advance the knowledge and skills learnt from those companies, that is why I am applying to your organization in order for me to grow and be among the list of the recognized engineers in the country as well as the world at large.

Pros: I want to grow in the mechanical engineering sector where I will acquire more of knowledge as well as skills in this field.
Cons: I am flexible enough to cater for any given time frame as long as it is reasonable.

Stiil studying towards my Masters in Public Administration

Allocating drivers to their relevant destinations. Reporting accidents to the management. Doing monthly, quarterly and yearly reports. working as a team with my fellow colleagues as to attain the organizational goals and mission. doing training where necessary.
