Hard worker

Wits is very challenging. It requires hardworking. I really have a good relationship with my fellow students. I have enjoyed meeting new people, from all works of the world. I have learnt how to study under pressure.

I do not work at Wits, I am an Honours Student.

Wits is an awesome institution which has given me the opportunity to expand my horizons and discover my abilities. I have learned a lot from and will continue to learn from as I will be pursuing a PhD in the same Institution.

Doing administrative and clerical tasks (such as scanning or printing). Preparing and editing letters, reports, memos, and emails. Running errands to the post office or supply store. Arranging meetings, appointments, and executive travel. Answering phone calls and taking messages. Maintaining folders on servers. Recording meeting minutes. Liaising with teams and units. Tracking petty cash. Covering reception.

Pros: The relationship and rapport I have built with the person I work for and the appreciation for a job well done.
Cons: The lack of respect you get as you are ‘just a Administrator’.

Great working space and beautiful people

WitWits is a great company to work for with people at aid you in your professional and academic development. Not only are the people great but the environment is very safe and it is a place I don't mind waking up and going to

Good career development

Very challenging job, colleagues are friendly and professional. I have learned a lot with regard to research. I enjoy reading and expressing myself a lot. The most challenging aspect of this job is that one has to adapt to different approaches to research in a very short space of time.

I was just a student, all the money I received or use in thia review were in line with the stipends I used to receive as à student.

Pros: It is challenging and encoursges one to mastet a lot of differing theories.
Cons: Its mostly academic and lacks industrial practical experience

Good learning environment as one is exposed to wide engineering facets.

Create a methodology for investigating a particular problem. Plan an experiment, design apparatus, select instrumentation, manufacture necessary equipment that is needed for the experiment. Conduct experiments, collect data, analyse data and discuss results. Perform simulations to compare to experimental results.

Wits University is a good workplace where one can be able to learn and gain experience in the field that you are in. It gives one an opportunity to explore and interact with executives and gives one an opportunity to explore
