Excellent motivator and negotiator

This is a PhD studying package and therefore the relationship is between the supervisor and researcher. The working conditions are flexible, the peolple are humble and generous.

Excellent curving

My name is Thembelihle Mtshali. In 2014 i moved to Durban to pursue my studies. I studied Bachelor of social science (psychology), which i completed in 2016. Then i did Bachelor of social science Honours in 2017. In 2017 i have worked as a mentor and tutor at the university of kwazulu natal. I am currently looking for a permanent job.

Good

I conduct internal criminal matters investigation and staff and students misconducts.i am a fast learner and have good communication skills. I work well in a team but perform working individually as well. I have obtained a Btech in policing and am currently busy with my forensic investigation post grad diploma.

Gained very good peoples skills and how to deal with deadlines. Learned how to utilise organizational skills. And learned how to work with very different people and how to adapt to their understanding

Learning curve

In this organization I learned and gained a bit of legal skills and I am still trying to ensure that I receive the required expertise in this field. I an focused and willing to expand my avenues in other organizations and gain skills as I would like to own my own business in the near future. In this organization and in checkers hyper that I worked in I would come in the morning at about eight in the morning. I would be responsible for the admin, typing and the distribution of the daily duties in the work place.

There's nothing to complain about really. UKZN is a great platform for learning. Those who come keen to learn leave with qualifications and those who don't leave with whatever they were busy with.

Student vacation worker - researcher

Computer science techniques used, physics, mathematics, statistics, report writing, presentation. Great working on your own and in a group with a supervisor.

Pros: Great opportunity for self growth and expanding knowledge on how to do presentations and report writing
Cons: Long hours working on computer programs to make a program work but very satisfying

New experience working at other fields

IiHaving to work with my co-workers has been a great experience for as we come from different backgroundds and we learn new things everyday. Working at the tdepartment of Health we get to see new things while invigilating . The most challenging thing is that we work long hourss and have no breaks if we having a busy day.

Good working environment. Great space to learn new and innovative ideas.

The personal office setting is the best aspect of the work. The manager was extremely unfair and created a very negative environment. I believe that learning in this environment is very vital.
