It’s a good environment and learning experience. My day to day work is helping customer with food orders , existing and canceling the orders , tracking the driver etc . I work in a tight hourly productivity. I also do emails to and from customers . - App ratings

I was working as a picker communicating with a scanner, for a period of 3 months.
I was working as a picker communicating with a scanner, for a period o i was cf 3 months. I was picking the customer oders and pack them accordingly. I was working a night shift which helped me to keep on pushing even if im underpressure.
Pros: I am a graduate and if i would get a chance to work or start this internship in the field of IT.

A typical day like at the office can be described as highly fast paced and unpredictable. My relationship with my colleagues are great as I have come to learn and embrace the different personality types, which has resulted in strong working relationships. I have come to learn during my time at my current organisation, that what is relevant today, will not be relevant tomorrow. Bringing order to the chaos and figuring out the unknown is what I enjoy most in my role. The most challenging asers of the job would definitely be not always obtaining buy in from Managers to abide by HR policies and procedures and last but not least, not having HR sit on Exco level results in HR having minimal influence in key decision making projects or processes.

I am a hard worker and fast learner.
Good company even and have good experience in hiring many people . Qa it's management is good have very limited access to the company rules and regulations.

Takealot offers a great learning space and a health environment for personal and career development. What enables my output or performance to be sky high is the support band help that I get from my team members. The team is enthusiastic and vibrant and are performance and results driven like me. This enables us to work efficiently and effectively together to complete take with the greatest accuracy.

Excellent Learning Curve
My day starts at 04:00, end around 22:00,. We do deliveries in various part of town, then after 5pm we do food deliveries at you designated place.I’ve learnt to be more outspoken, other cultures ways and my co-workers are very helpful, especially being in a male dominated industry. I enjoy the travelling and the challenging part is the working hour’s

The company provides an environment that encourages skills development
The organization gives employees the opportunity to build on their skills however there is a lack of career growth opportunities. The organization would be much better if there were more opportunities to grow within career development rather than just skills and staying in same position

Good company to start
Takealot is a fast-paced environment, therefore, you need to adapt quickly to changes. They don't offer any incentives or rewards. The job is good for someone fresh out of high school but someone that needs to support a family and with the rand value in south Africa the pay is not motivating enough.
Pros: Working hours are conducive to the time zone of South Africa
