Great knowledge

I kjbHave been a great way for growth and I appreacieate the level of hard work and commetment from the group. We work as a unit and have concrete targets that we work towards.

Company is great when it comes to online systems and development

Daily duties include capturing and verifying of captured images extracted from speed cameras. A daily target of 2500 images and 2500 verification stats are required to meet daily targets

Excellent learning curve

Currently I am working as a System Support Technician. It’s a very challenging and interesting job, dealing with new problems almost every day. We provide our services based on the Service Level Agreements (SLAs). To be able to ensure that the SLAs are met I work with a ticketing system, Microsoft servers, XMLs, MS SQL servers to run SQL queries to investigate, analyse , test and resolve daily logged calls. We perform updates rollouts for the systems, Systems Health Monitoring, liaise and collaborate with members across all company’s departments.

Pros: Great exposure to systems and IT infrastructure
Cons: no bonuses no benefits

Syntell was a learning curve for me

Working at Syntell taught me a lot . Self discipline and how to be target driven . That working as a team is important and that we can achieve a lot more in a team then any individual can . It's extremely important to keep calm and not over react to certain situations and that work life and home life are not the same . Syntell was a huge experience for me

Pros: I'm a faster typer and I have an amazing attention for detail now
Cons: Was put under impossible pressure .

I have learnt to work under pressure

We work as a team and as individuals. I enjoy both. At the workplace you meet different people and you have to know them well to create a good working environment. I am a data capturer. I capture all the information of the cars that were triggered by the camera on the roads. I have a good relationship with my co-workers. I have learnt to be fast with what I do. I enjoy my job. The most challenging thing is when we have the high numbers on the system that need to be finished in few days.

Pros: We not only capturing data we also help on other teams
Cons: I sometimes night shift and overtime when necessary

My skills will lead to a successful outcome.

I have been afforded the opportunity to share and upgrade my Road and Transport Management skills with all other colleagues. I enjoy most the passenger experience in relation to utilization of all means of transportation. The past years within Syntell my supervisory and leadership skills have excelled.

Pros: produce significantly to meet our customers needs timeously.
Cons: malfunctioning of electronic devices which end up frustrating users.
