Stefanutti is a great company to work for. My typical day is reviewing building and submitting tenders for various projects. Co-workers are good here and there is a mutual respect for each other no matter your job category. I started at Stefanutti as a SMP Estimator in 2014 and have gained so much experience, in os that I can manage projects. I enjoy the freedom as we are not policed. Most challenging aspect of my job is that I have no support structure.

Feels like home, but need to move
Although Ive only worked here a half day, I have been here a long time and watched the company change and merge through the good times and the bad. My switchboard is very busy, most often for agents wanting to confirm employment of our general labour or our suppliers looking for payment. I have dealt with a multitude of people on a day to day basis. From the international propety developer to the carpenter, bricklayer or student looking for a job. I have loved coming to work and getting my salary every month, dealing and seeing everyone, but the position has stagnated me, and hence me returning to study again in another field.
Pros: Getting a regular salary, working for a big company, being half day, having lovely co-workers
Cons: Having to deal with 'big company' politics, Not being able to grow in the company.

Determine and Team Player.
I am an enthusiastic , determine, a goal and pro-active solution driven attitude. I have demonstrated by carrying my self very professional in my Training years as a miner, and elevate to being production supervisor(acting), and Being appointed as an jnr estimator among other competitive individual. Part of my strong capabilities I posses is the mix of understanding of my own weaknesses and the ability to be coached from well experience and professional personnel. I believe I can be an asset to any Organisation, given a chance.

Great exposure and independence
Being an electrical supervisor in an mechanical and piping company comes with a great challenge as all the decisions concerning electrical installations are taken by you.

Excellant learning curve
Willing to help and support projects on a daily basis. Train and create systems and ensure systems are understood and managed. Assist estimators with new tenders. Provide assistance on tenders and any cost implications that may have a impact at project implementation. Audit projects on a monthly basis to ensure ISO and legal compliance are met. Willingness to deal with critical issues at anytime. Most biggest challenge was to think out of the box when challenging issues occure. Project sites can also be challenging but you are there to manage and provide assistance even training from scratch to have the procees flow. Most of enjoyable aspect was the assistance and training as well as the creativity to create a prosses/system that helps the person in need.

Great company with great culture
Worked long hours usually from 6h00 to about 19h00. Had a great relationship with all employees, up and down. Was exposed to some very large projects and there was always opportunity to learn and grow.
