Excellent experience and learning curve

I was a Branch Manager when I left the Bank by taking an early retirement. i was managing a team of 40 Staff members whom I had a very good working relationship. Through the years I worked for Standard Bank, I learnt the importance of Teamwork and Customer Experience. I very much enjoy interacting with customers.

Pros: I used to relieve as the Regional Manager which could have opened promotion for me.
Cons: Although I worked long hours, I coped.

With the right support you can grow a lot and the environment is always changing which is exciting for someone who loves to get multi task and learn all the time

Excellent learning curb

A typical work day is a day where work is being finalised and handed over,Respecting one another was a value that brought about great for the company,working n teams makes life much easier and unites us all as a team,Finalising a hectic day with no unresolved issues. Knowing that there is a challenge waiting for me dailly and knowing that one learns something new everyday.

Reflections

A typical work day is busy and interactive. It is dynamic within its own right. Team work and colloboration is essential in this business. Everyday is a learning experience The most challenging part is to provide advice to suit the business needs and being compliant with the law and ethics.

Excellent learning opportunity

I completed my BCom Financial Management degree in 1992. I am a consistent, hardworking and highly motivated person. I have over 20 years experience in the financial services sector and have extensive experience in investment administration. I have good communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail. My goal is to become associated with a company where I can utilize my skills and gain further experience while enhancing the company’s productivity and reputation.

Looking for new experience

I seen myself as a self motivated person,like challenging experiences in order to learn more,work excellent with my peers,my day is normally planned to make sure everything runs smoothly in case unforeseen circumstances arise.like to get things done right the first time.im a people's person,eager to help my peers and eager to learn new things,but mostly km passionate about customer service .handling clients queries,servicing clients,actioning emails,annotate all sales on excel spreadsheet,answering calls and cold calling

Building relationships and maintaining them with internal and external clients

Making sure that the committee forms a quorum, diary daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly planning with important events. Working as a team and having back ups when one is not at work I have learnt that there's no 'I' in a team Creating a work environment that is homely away from home as one spends 8 to 10 hours at work. When were are short staffed and is month end. My job is to make sure that there are no balls that are dropped due to shortage of staff. I make sure that I plan ahead to enable me to deliver my deliverables.

Pros: To focus on my work and delivering beyond my deliverables. If there's a planned event, make sure date is set up, invitees have placeholder in their dairies, send proper invitation, track the acceptance and declines, phone the declines to check what are the possibilities of attending or must I change date to suite them, look for venue, food. Drinks. Small gifts for attendees and facilitators that is within the budget,
Cons: Working 8 - 12 hours a day

It's a learning curve

It's a daily challenge as you have to resolve customer queries and escalations. Logging is very important as whatever you do needs to be recorded and traced. You need to be focused, punctual and accurate at all times as a single error can result into a loss for the company. Professional customer service is what you give daily as we are measured by QA and all calls are recorded. Good relationship with th the colleagues is an important part as we are a team and what ever we do impacts the company's reputation

Learning curve

Company I have worked for, I took it as a family to me, they have rooms for growth and they allow each individuals to express their feelings. The environment it's healthy and there more energy to work around. Employees are too friendly and always hungry to deliver a good customer service.

Nice environment

I am currently working at one of the big financial company as a Cryptography Specialist. As a Cryptography Specialist, my role entails looking after the distinct brands of Hardware Security Modules (Encipher and payShield HSMs), Certificate Life Cycle Management, Public Key Infrastructure, Key Management, BDS Systems, Remote Key Loading, Visa/Master cards BINs and Key Generation and Loading. In addition to keeping my transaction up to 99.99% uptime is my first priority and cost saving.
