The different people i get to meet everyday
Not much room for growth within the company. In such conglomerates managed by owners, prosperity instrife for success is a mute point. Its also something i wanted to do as an opportunity for a break between mu last real retail management job,but growth is zero to none chances

More skills and knowledge on creating nice and attractive display
Everyday is the same meeting and greeting of new and regular customers,service delivery as fast as we can with my lovely kitchen staff with their performance up to standard and my lovely cahiers who ensure that my customers always pay their bill and leave the shop smiling then its gudby tnx c u tomorrow

Alot of work covered by management
Work life is very busy, with management begin very active in everything. My relationship with my fellow mangers is great, and we work well as a unit A typical day involves staff management, customer overview and applease. In my time here I've learnt alot, grown in confidence and become my own man.

Always willing to learn. There's always room for improvement.
I work well under pressure. Always look at each day as an opporttunity to learn. Keep a possitive atittude always, pay attention to detail. Am great team player. Keep room to improve myself. Time management is important to me.

Excellent learning curve
A typical work day as a waitress includes serving customers, giving good customer service and making sure the customer leaves satisfied with the restaurant. Co-workers need to work well together and a lot of team work is involved. I've learnt how to work well with people and have a positive attitude towards customers. I really enjoy working with people and making sure everyone is satisfied with the service I give. The most vhallimgkng aspect of being a waitress is the long working hours and having to multi task and satisfy everyone's needs without making any mistakeshfhhhhhshhhzhzhzhzhzhz

Working with people
Working at Spur was very enjoyable. I worked from 07:00 to 15:00 or from 15:00 to 22:00, working there was extremely tiring because waiters are not allowed to sit down. My co-workers were always kind, helpful and encouraging. All the waiters liked me and always offered to help where I needed assistance and they always encouraged me to ask them if I'm not sure about my order or something. Working there I have learned to be patient with people and I have also learned to control my feelings and emotions. I learned to speak Afrikaans and improved my communication skills as well as selling skills and I also learned that people are not the same. I learned that it is very important to be clean and presentable when dealing with people and their food. I most certainly enjoyed working at Spur, I enjoyed meeting new people and interacting with different types of people every day . The only difficult aspect was dealing with rude or disrespectful customers.

I've learnt how to work with othet people and communication with other languages.
I'm willing to train more and know more about the job that i'm about to work on if posibly. I'm reaigned on the previous job because i did not feel comfortable, and now i've chosen a job i think it is suitable for me. I like working with people i don't know because they reapect and i respect them too. Working with strangers is simply good becuase even the duty goes effeciently good. The most challenging thing it is when the customer can't see your point of view while you're following the job policy as a employee, as also being conducted on the contract.
Pros: At least whem i'm improving
Cons: I would like to work 8 hours and after 8 hours that's overtime, it also include payment for that. 8 ours is perfect.

Excellent learning and good service
I can't say it was easy but I wasn't cause we woke up early and facing lots of challenges of work experience,boss ,argument of cleaning,but I enjoyed working there as one of the family Spur restaurant it was life time opportunity facing new food,salads,dessert and other beverage brand.
Pros: it was good opportunity of experiencing new food and new environment
