My home language is sepedi, but I understand and speak other language like English and Afrikaans. I am enjoying my work at SASSA but i would like a permanent position.
My typical work day at SASSA includes doing intake of customers as the walk into the office then refer them to the departments that are relevant. I also do capturing of medical forms for clients applying for Disability grant. I also do screening for clients coming to apply for Social Assistance Grants for the first time. I have a good working relationship with my colleagues and we try to assist each other daily. Ihave learnt a lot from a SASSA like Public Administration, how to deal with clients, data capturing, communication skills. I enjoy everything i do here because at the end of the day it is fullfilling to be able to assist the clients coming to our offices looking for help.
Pros: Having to work in an enviroment where you are able to reach your full potential.

Processing payroll run
SASSA is a large government entity specialises with payment of all social grant to South African citizen who qualifies from the mean test. To be part of SASSA family it is a privilege because I contribute a lot to the vulnerable and to poor of the poorest

Doing the best i can
- Able to work under pressure - I'm a fast learner - team spirits with my colleague - always initiative when comes to ideas - good communications with customers - Punctual
Pros: working for this company it is a great experience to me, working under pressure and handle millions of customers
Cons: able to work during holidays and weekends if necessary needed to do so

OPPORTUNITY TO GROW
A typical work day at South African Social Security starts with us having daily meetings with our supervisors , informing them how far we with the planning of different audits. Then on Tuesdays we would start making travel arrangements depending on the duration of the audit. I have a good working relationship with my co workers. As an Intern of Internal Audit at South African Social Security Agency equipped me the necessary experience to assist with the execution of audit plan, assist with drafting issues/ findings and execute the audit work assigned , Assist with the review and evaluation of management comments and action and developing system description and perform a walk through. I enjoy it most when I am executing the audit work and assist in drafting findings.

I am a self motivated individual who enjoy my work and always punctual
I enjoy every moment of my time at work and interact with all line managers at all time to ensure service delivery to all my clients. I have also learned that well motivated staff happen to increase production at all times. Every activity of the job need to be addressed in time to avoid skipping set time lines which will hamper planned delivery of services.
Pros: It will be an honor for me to be given an opportunity to prove my potential in your company
Cons: I am prepared to dedicate most of my time to the tasks that will be offered to me and prepared to work for long hours to ensure that the company achieve its objectives

Very good learning curve
Working at this agency has been exciting and I have learnt so much pertaining government policies and legislation, financial statements, calculations and data capturing which is all incorporated in my normal day to day functions and duties. A typical work day is assisting 150-200 clients applying for social grants daily. I have worked at this agency since 2003,and I have matured in this working environment. I have good relationships with all the staff because I work in teams in each and every different department and rotation takes place annually. The administration part of my job is what I enjoy the most and being able to train and assist the new officials who is not well-known with the specific system. The most challenging aspect of my job is visiting main hospitals and institutions such as old age homes and psychiatric institutions to finalize social grant applications.

Im a hardworker ,always willing to learn new things ,problems solver and addicted with numbers
Day to day monitoring of the budget and expenditure , preparing of reports for top management meeting and budget committee , compiling annexures for disclosure notes for the preparation of IFS and AFS, Resolving of audit queries arisen from prior audited information, supervising of sub-ordinates and also mentor so as to coach the one which are on entry level post in terms of giving them proper foundation about public sector ,I strive for the better and try to be someone's roles model thus importantly maintain an open door policy. I've been able to create devisable working environment and one of the things I have developed is to always be a strategic leader and I've been enjoying crunching figures during planning sessions as well working with excel spread sheet and pivot tables as well creating graphical representation for top management report as they say that financial data should be analyse and prepared differently in order for it to keep stakeholders involved curious about their spending patterns.
Pros: the previlege of being able to mentor nor coach entryl level officials which are under my supervision
Cons: Ability to work long hours when asked to do so
