New mining career path
With the skill I have acquired in the mining industry, I strongly believe I will be of great value in the company. I currently have a Mining Engineering degree obtained in the University of Witwatersrand and 5 years experience working in Sibanye Gold Limited. I have acquired the following qualification and certificates: • Mining Engineering Degree • Rock breaking certificate • Production supervisor certificate • Intermediate certificate in mine environmental control I worked in Sibanye Gold Stillwater for 5 years and I had the chance work in different positions during my graduate programme. I assumed positions as a miner, production supervisor and a ventilation officer. All three positions encouraged me to adhere to the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Minerals and Petroleum Resources and Develoment Act guiding mining companies.

Review of time at Sibanye Gold
Working in a high pressure environment daily, with colleagues of all ages, race and skill levels, I have learnt to enjoy helping in other fields of expertise aswell as sharing my skills and knowledge in my field with many other colleagues over the years. I enjoy working with other people and learning from their experience. The most challenging part of the job is maintaining healthy a relationship at home due to so many hours spent at work due to breakdowns and call-outs.
Pros: Work with many skilled and experienced people

EXCELLENT LEARNING CURVE
I was involved in extracting Electrical scope from the client's requirements and compile Basis of design, basic engineering package which included all electrical engineering design documents, consulting with other departments and client for design reviews, involved in construction support and commissioning. I worked well with people of different age, career level, religion and ethnic groups.

Excellent Learning
The jobis so iinteresting as i do it every day bcz i don't change the method of working,i always know what Iam going to do when i enter the work place.I have a good working relationship with my colleague and we do a lot of talking about the job before we start working.There is a lot of things i learned about the job,not to be careless, always leasning to the person who instruct what to do.The challenges is there bcz we must always think about Health and Safety to make sure we don't get injured and be protected all the time.

Started as a learner sampler and worked my way up to a superintendent mine planner
Work day starts at 05H30 and ends around 6pm. I get on well with co workers and am always looked at to help when needed. I learnt that not all people are as they seem. In other words you get management that talks behind your back no. Matter how hard you work for them. I love working with people and computer programs and learn very quickly.. The most challenging aspect of the job is getting all departments to work together and get time from each one to get the job done correctly. n needed

I was doing electrical job to the mine industry
I was working with different people to the mine industry, where l have learnt many things concerning electricity. I was working with electrical cables like 4mm for the lights. 10mm, 16mm, 25mm and 70mm. I was installing the mono winches, winches, lights, telephones, industrial plugs, welding plugs, centralized blasting boxes, transformers, mini substations, electrical motors, spindle pumps motors, sequence starter, working to the stop, l have also worked as a security officer. Moreover these, l have acting to worked as a ventilation officer, where l was using many instruments like wheeling hygrometer, manometer, gages, draggers, ditto meter to measure on the distance, noise meter to measure the noise, barometer, rods, kata which was working with the flask. This was happening whereby l was working with the stop, tunnel. I was also measuring the velocity the rate of air which was flowing underground. I was also checking the flammable gases underground like methane, hydrogen gas
Pros: to work with electricity like installing the transformers, mini sub- stations, mono winches, winches, telephones, industrial plugs, welding plugs, electrical cables like size 4mm, 10mm, 16mm, 25mm and 70mm and many more. Moreover these, I was installing the centralized boxes and so forth.

Goodbworker
I like to work and my work is always first and will even do something else what is not on the job description and will even used my own car to do the job
Pros: did done miners job blast and support the working area and have been in charge of 70 workers and did enjoy it are retrenched now
