As Service/Branch Manager my duties were as follows : - Compiling of my budgets for all my Departments namely Field Service, P.D.I, Service Exchange Units, Component Rebuilds for Internal & External Customers, Major Rebuilds and Service Contracts and this was presenting to the Board of Directors for approval and scrutiny; - Ensuring that each division kept in the budget that was approved; - Identifying Customer needs and putting together an action plan; - Signing off on parts ordered, quotations for work to be done, monthly invoicing, monthly overtime and monthly expenses i.e. cell phones, accommodation, etc. Monthly Reporting - Monthly invoicing versus Budget and Actual; - Breakdown of the high costs incurred and if any corrective steps; - Major projects progress; - Rolling forecast of expected major projects; - Disciplinary actions and outcomes; - Union meeting feedback;

I am hard working person, who goes extra mile to achieve company goals and personal goals.
most challenging moment in the mining industry is Wage negations which it brought huge uncertanity between unions, as the previos history was that it was one union dominance, now the land scape has changed and it forced management to review all internal agreements and to standardarise the application of policies and procedures. big challange is to built a solid relationsip with all stakeholders, as new revival union does not trust management in terms of past history, this has made management to change the culture of doing things to comply with changes. my experiance is that there is no comfort zone in the 20 century in terms of human resource, we need to learn and to become innovative in terms of changing world in hr.

Excellent
I was working to fix electrical breakdowns I was working as electrician underground and surface. The communication between me and my foreman was good and other artisans we help each other if there is a smash

Great work experience
My time at Cooke operations was challenging and exciting as I learnt a great deal about mine planning and working with a multicultural team, as Cooke has complex geological structures and orebodies. Day to day I update certain reports when not busy with designs and scheduling, also assisting the MRM manager for time to time with production and grade analyses. On a monthly basis I coordinate the different departments to meet planning and project deadlines. I have not just learnt the technicalities of mining, but how to work with different types of people from all walks of life with different personalities, I get along with all colleagues, we do have arguments and disagreements from time to time, but we do not let it influence our working relationship and professionalism. I enjoy the fast pace at which things need to happen at times

Good hard worker
Working as a plant fitter maintaining pumps,conveyor belts,linear screens and helping at the milling section with high and low pressure pumps.i have a good working relationship with my co workers.

Review of time at Sibanye Gold
Working in a high pressure environment daily, with colleagues of all ages, race and skill levels, I have learnt to enjoy helping in other fields of expertise aswell as sharing my skills and knowledge in my field with many other colleagues over the years. I enjoy working with other people and learning from their experience. The most challenging part of the job is maintaining healthy a relationship at home due to so many hours spent at work due to breakdowns and call-outs.

Excellent corporate climbing experience
Motivating learner metallurgist, plant monitoring and de-bottlenecking, report writing and metal accounting. I learned to work better in a team, and good time management, planning and taking responsibility of the daily running of the plant.

I`m a fast learner and a positve goal echiever
I loved where I was working and worked positively everyday with my employees under my supervision. We had a great teamwork system in place and always where aware of dangers at the working place. We all have good healt and saftey skills for the mine trained us well. I have learned a lot these past 17 years that I was working there for them and picked up lots of experience in any trade. The most challenging part of my job was the big responsibility for all the employees on the mine. There safety depended on me everyday of there lives in there working places.
Pros: Looking for new and exciting thing and willing to learn more and get more skills.

Great mechanical aptitude, with relavent qualifications
I am a qualified fitter by trade.can carry duties from plant maintenance to machinery installation, pumps, conveyor belt, crushers, mills, locomotive, fridge plant and underground machinery.
Pros: Very intelligent individual
Cons: up to 70hrs
