Learning curve

to the work load being more and us not being able to properly rest during our lunch breaks. It gave me a breakthrough to challenge myself on a daily basis

Good environment for learning

A typical day's work would be doing my daily checks on the machines.Ensure everything is running smoothly.Sincei was new in the department they treated me as part of the team.I have learnt a lot and still learning i.e.fault finding and troubleshooting when there's a breakdown.I enjoyed the fact that I would be given chance to attend the breakdown on my and shout if I have a problem.

Pros: Good environment for learning
Cons: Being a perfectionist,end up doing others work

Female Process Engineer with 6 Years industry experience and Electrical Power Engineering Background

I am an Electrical Engineering Technician (Heavy Current) with 6 years industry experience mostly in process engineering and light current applications in a manufacturing plant. I possess strong analytical & fault finding skills. I also have training and experience on light current and mechanical operations. I have further attained a background in quality control, which equips me to always safely produce work of high standards.

Pros: Travel allowance. car allowance, medical aid, E toll account free
Cons: no growth, Employment equity not structured no females in middle to upper management. Training and development selective and not consistant.

It's ok but its underpaying

The company has potential to be the best because it's nice to work here but the salary is too little and the bonus is a joke but the staff is nice to work with even though I feel like the people's morale is down due to being underpaid. Otherwise if they can fix the salary and pay them a living salary this would be the best workplace by far.

Excellent learning curv

My typical work day is to do my job as it must be done. My relationship with my co-workers is to have good understanding and treat everyone the same. I start as a operator at the factory in 2 months time I learned how to operated machines. I enjoyed the team work of each and every department in the factory. The most challenging of team leader is let good quality of production go out to the customers and also to managed your team to produced 100% defects free to customers.
