Started working at scaw as an apprentice in 2010, it's an excellent company to work and learn.
I enjoy doing my job at scaw metal so far, it's a very challenging industry which requires team work. We always plan our jobs in advance as we do a lot of maintenance every week. I also do standby and sometimes work on weekend when work is required.
Pros: Great opportunities for learning and promotion
Cons: I also sometimes work for long hours when ask to do so.

I touched on different aspects as in your example.
At any given day I see not less than 17 employees for Primary health care, process sick notes, do medical surveillance. Medical surveillance findings must be followed up by referring employees to different disciplines for management. At most we get 4 IOD cases per month which must be managed prior to referral to external health care facilities, then followed by admin work and follow-up of cases. The most challenging aspects of my job is finishing all the work by the time I knock off. I often stay behind for an hour or two to cover the administrative work as during the day there are too many things to attend to.
Pros: Working independently has taught me to be a self-starter and discipline myself to to meet my deadlines.
Cons: Working alone in a clinic, means i have to manage my time diligently and decline few meetings as the work can be too great at times.

Great company to gain experience when you are a graduate with no experience.
My typical work day at Scaw that I have experienced was when I arrived in the morning I would check my emails first and reply to them when important and after that I would write down how my schedule would be for the day and then do some filing. My relationship with my co-workers was professional at all levels and we're did a great teamwork. I have learned alot of things at Scaw, scanning, attending interviews with my co-workers, preparing on-boarding packs and booking up medical examination tests, Answering switchboard, sending all documentation to pay roll and sending termination notices for employees whose contract is coming to an end. Challenges aspects I faced was when Scaw hired 25 employees for a learnership programme and I had to do all the paperwork for them and completed some missing information on the forms when the learners didn't and also I had to follow up on them to bring out the documents that was needed to go to payroll, it was challenging but I had enjoyed working there.

Greatly enthusiastic
I have planned and manage projects, including a project which saves the company more than R3600000. Successfully minimised engineering downtime. Experience growth with great responsibility. Acquired good technical skills and enhanced my supervisory skills. Have increased confidence in problem solving and decision making. Have an objective of progressively implementing capacity planning, ensuring at least 80% resource utilisation. Cost saving through the application of a sound maintenance strategy. Skills in Maintaining good relationship with other employees and suppliers.

Technical
Hard working , self motivated and team worker . I experiencing new challenges in the engineering field grow my knowledge and share with my team . experience in safety and project , working shifts and give reports to the manager in charge. worked in the confirm space and working at heights as part of my field.

It good experience and a learning curve for me
to be honest it is a very good company to work for with good benefits, a company who always like to see people progress or I should say upgrade or grow in the company. my relationship with the workers is very good as well as well as the working hours too. including management as well they are the kind of people who wants the jobs to be done on time but they not harsh people the reason for the to apply for this vacancy is because I live very far from the work place and the petrol costs too much a month, as well as your salary offer is too good for me.

I am currently a Project Engineer and have the following duties and responsibilities: 30 personnel reporting to me, safety statistics, section maintenance, developments, projects, plant availability, KPI, team coaching, Engineering budget control, Switching: High Tension (22; 11; 6.6 kV) , Medium Voltages (525, 380 V) , Siemens S7 plc

Various manufacturing process provides wide range of process to learn from.
The company gives an opportunity to expand and advance in your career of choice and also learn more in specific manufacturing processes. It is one of the largest foundries in Africa and produces large amount of castings for various sectors. Overall, the learning curve never stop at Scaw Metals.
Pros: Chance for advancing in a metallurgy career.
Cons: Contracts work.

National Diploma in financial management
I would like to express my interest in the field of finance. I am a hard working individual who has the ability to work hard and under pressure. I am a well groomed individual, self motivated, a team player and I have passion with working with different people with different personalities. I have the qualification in financial management but most of my experience is in admin/ Finance such as reconciliation, data capturing and recording of invoices and send the for payment and more of admin field.
Pros: I wold like to explore in the field of finance
Cons: I am a hard working individual who does not mind working for long hours to complete the work flow when necessary especially when there is a a deadline
