Decision making centralised to management
Worst company to work, decision making is centralised at the top without involving its lower level employees. Long hours which are not appropriately compensated. No growth opportunities. No work-life balance. Overtime hours are averaged out. High level of employee dismissals. Worse working conditions for lower level employees. To make long story short this not the company to work unless you want to get exploited for your valuable labour.

Very challenging and interesting
Working under pressure requires well dedication and good time and communication skills.loving your job help you to learn and to always eager and strive for the better at all times. You get learn how to deal with different kind of people more special aggressive and non motivated people.

Interacting with high calibre people
I have learned a lot ever since I got hired at SBV. I got an opportunity to work closely with the CIO and Head of PMO, this people have a lot of experience in the industry and it has been great to learn from such educated and experienced people. The team I work with is brilliant in delivering quality service. There is a good team spirit in our PMO department which motivates one to always strive for the best. The only current challenge is growth, I need to grow and reach limits I have set for myself.

A typical work day
Arrive at the office at 07h00 after dropping off my daughter. Send out a reminder report for all Cash Centre's to capture the opening balances. Call the Centre's to discuss ways forward to reduce unsorted cash. Around 12h00 view what orders need to be packed. once pack complete ensure we have enough cash to supply the next days demand.(use forecast which is complete 35 days in advance) Arrange logistics for set amount of cash. Withdraw money from South African Reserve Bank to satisfy demand if need be. 13h00 ask Centre's to move cash into NHTO vault, this is a balance sheet relief for the cash Centre's where we do not pay any cost of funds. at 15h00 ensure NHTO is settled for by SARB. 15H30 leave the office.

Cons: cannot discuss work outside like normal people
