Good
I like administration duties because they are logical, i relate well with personnel, i enjoy most when disussing duties to be executed because it creates more room for me to have beter vew on work, when other member need to be pushed to do thire job is challengind and i have learned that our mindset or opinions differ.

HR Assistant,
I am currently volunteering at SAPS as an HR Assistant, I glad that they gave me a chance to work with them i am learning technical & non-technical skills e.g i can work under pressure, i can handle stress. They are also happy to have me because i am vibrant, committed, focused, accommodative, organized & i am a team player & i finish work on time. My typical work day are: Answering calls, Taking messages, welcoming clients, Emailing, Faxing, Photocopying, filing, Typing of letters, update personal files, update Leave register, process leave application & leave auditing. Lastly i am a very friendly person who have interpersonal skills, computer skills & etc
Pros: They say i must wait for posts to be advertised so that i can i apply for a permanent position
Cons: I am working 8hrs per day

Having worked in the SAPS has been a great opportunity and a great opportunity for me.
Working in the SAPS is challenging since you interact with new people on the daily basis with different problems. One has to always potray a professional behavior to insure that the image of the organization is protected and service is rendered in a professional manner. My daily duties includes the investigation of reported cases, interviewing the victims/suspects, drafting statements, liasing with the prosecutors in court and testifying in courts if required to do so. Working in the SAPS demands team work, I have adjusted well in this field and also attended a course Functioning in a Team which made it easier to function and work well as a team. I've learned the importance of respect and discipline and how negative behavior can tarnish the name of the organization. My work involves learning new things everyday, each with different approach to solve and that's what I enjoy the most, one has to be innovative to solve the problem.

Excellent working inviroment
Its an excellent working inviroment,working as a team,and is a dangerous workplace as you have to arrest dangerous suspects investigations of dockets to court and tracing of suspects. Working at night in dangerous situations,recruitment of informers and working with them.my relationships with my colleagues is a very good because we do trust each other working as partners. I enjoyed most chasing criminals and getting a successful convictions, the most challenging aspects is presenting courts dockets to court

Excellent experience
It was a long journey filled with learning, good times and bad times. It required a lot of hard work, dedication, perseverance, consistency, emence will power and patience. You are constantly challenged and required to think on your feet using your own descretion at times to reach targets responsibily so. Working hours were often long and we traveled a lot for physical inspections and audits. All in all its a highly busy and exciting environment.
Pros: You learn alot

Admin clerk intern
admin clerk (intern) - compiling Monthly & weekly reports - drafting action plan(event matrix) - compiling management frame work monthly - handling out and incoming mails - handling incoming calls and out going calls then register them manual book on daily basis - taking and typing minutes of the management meetings and stakeholder's meetings - capturing successes (inmates) and recoveries on OPAM system - render secretarial & administration duties
Pros: to get a permanent position
Cons: 8 hours and with an extra mile, then i can also work for overtime because i am a workaholic person.
