I have a good relationship with my co-workers. I ve learnt to be dedicated at my job.I enjoyed to trace the suspect and brought them to court and get convictions.The challenge is when suspect ran away of the country

It is a challenging experience i have managed to grow and gained good experience

Saps is a wonderful place to worj at full of challenges access to the world learning meeting diverse community also hving to deal with both dengerous and carying people . I have exeled in giving evidence in court sending criminals to rehabilitation . Ihave also sharwd my exprience with my juniors . I have learnt that respect is earned by humbling yourself.

Pros: by working hard and meeting your targets put you in good promotional stage
Cons: working lobg hours is the everday thing

Better career building

Doing patrols and work large area to attend complaints and does crime prevention. Drive the car all the day being vigilant and resolving crime matters and meetimg community members for information gathering.

Pros: No possible promotion
Cons: Normal hours

ITS AN STEEPPING STONE TO SUCCESS

MY WORK DAYS ARE AS FOLLOWS,IWORK WITH DOCKETS,THE FILLING OF THEM THE ISSUING THEM OUT,COPIES ND BOOKING THEM TO THE DIDECTIVES,MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MY COMMANDERS IS VERY GOOD BECAUSE THEY UNDERSTAND ME AND THY VALVUE MY PRESENT AT WORK,IHAVE LEARN THAT NOTHING COME EASY IN LIFE ALSO IHAVE LEARN THAT WORKING IN A COMPANY OR DEPRARTMENT IS VERY GOOD IT INTERCAT YOU WITH MANY THINGS,WHAT I ENJOY MOST IS HELPING PEOPLE THAT CAME TO APPLY ASSISTING THEM AND ALSO EXPLAINING TO MY COMMANDERS THE TASKS THAT THY UASULY GIVE US,THE MOST CHALLENGING OF MY JOB IS TO HAVE AN REQUEST OF FINDING THE DOCKET AND FIGURE THAT THE IS NO DOCKET,THAT FOR ME IS A CHALLENGE BECAUSE IT REQUERE YOU TO WRITE STATEMENT OF IT.

Head of HR by saps, managing 11 members, responsible person with diploma and degree in Hrd,

Responsible for absenteeism, termination, Injury on duty, training, promotions, pay progression of the employees, labour relations and attending management meeting every week, attending collision meeting, doing grievance, , responsible for performance management, and discipline

Pros: yes promotion
Cons: 8 hrs but I go extra mile

HR Assistant,

I am currently volunteering at SAPS as an HR Assistant, I glad that they gave me a chance to work with them i am learning technical & non-technical skills e.g i can work under pressure, i can handle stress. They are also happy to have me because i am vibrant, committed, focused, accommodative, organized & i am a team player & i finish work on time. My typical work day are: Answering calls, Taking messages, welcoming clients, Emailing, Faxing, Photocopying, filing, Typing of letters, update personal files, update Leave register, process leave application & leave auditing. Lastly i am a very friendly person who have interpersonal skills, computer skills & etc

Pros: They say i must wait for posts to be advertised so that i can i apply for a permanent position
Cons: I am working 8hrs per day

Excellent learning curve

Done a lot in my company and most importantly is that my station is small so I got to do a bit HR and Finance for a while also circulation and typing.

Pros: Less opportunity for promotion

Fast learner and gained lots of experience

I've completed my in-service training 2017 .I've learned to work individual and within a team. Also work under pressure. Also learned to took initiative .I've learned to respect people no matter who they are,and also their cultures and belief.it was very challenging work because we're have to meet deadline,Also have to answer switch board and transfer call to other offices.what's I like mostly was solidarity that I've worked under because we don't took lunch but were always smiling because we enjoyed what we're we doing. While you're busy working also eat when you hungry.also missed the the sense of humour because I believed that when you happy automatically you work effectively and efficiently.
