Pros: There is always a fair chance for growth for everyone and reviews to identify areas that needs to be improved.
Cons: No one knocks off until the job is won...this normally lead to long working hours at times

Excellent writting skills and work ethics

Staff is over worked and victimised by senior management. The opportunity to grow is there but is based on who you know. Staff is sometimes over looked for opportunity because of lack of leadership. Overall its not a bad company but with the current senior management it leaves less to desire.

Pros: Unlikely to retrench
Cons: Overlooked and Under appreciated

Taught me to be in control of situations and how to deal with difficult people

This is a site based job and as a Technician i always work alone with customers so interaction with other wokers from my company is minimal.I do enjoy being in control of the situation and being target oriented and finish jobs within the prescribed timeframe.

Pros: Always challenging situations
Cons: Less opportunities for development(promotion) and the salaries are low

Excellent training

i work with rigs , bolter,solo laizer and dump truck. i work as a mechanical fitter. 3years underground and 2 years inservice. i sometimes work as an acting supervisor. i did my apprenticeship for 3years. i work as an artisan for 2years. there is a lot of work challengi but i enjoy working as an artisan.

Pros: great oppotunity for promotion

Gained experience

I have worked in both manufacturing as well as mining industry which makes it easy to adapt in any situation. I managed stores from doing quotation, stocktaking, stock replenishment, invoicing, issuing , picking and packing, binning and tidying up the stores.

Pros: learning curve
Cons: no growth

My currently company has a possibility of retrenchment

I enjoy working under pressure because that is where I learn the most on to deal with my performance.I also enjoy to work as a team for example if we working shift I make sure the job is done from by the other shift to maintain less hours on mean time repairs.

Pros: I will like to be a technician
Cons: 12 hours a day

Excellence working experience

my typical day to day include inventory management tasks, procurement tasks and transportation tasks The relationship with the co-workers is very good , team player, its like my family member at work. I have learnt alot about warehouse from computer skills to supervising skills I enjoy doing my job with passion The most challenging thing about my job is long hours but with me being committed and loving my job makes it easy

Grade 12, Rigging nd Slinging certificate, working at height certificate nd working in confine space

Issuing and receiving stock, housekeeping, counting stock start of shift and end of shift, stock take once a month and ,report the missing stock and damages

Pros: It is a great opportunity to work for this company
Cons: Willing to long hours and overtime

Lack of development toward employee

I learned to be patient when working with difficult clients and you must always submit on time to avoid problems The challenging part it when the customer doesn't pay what they promised
