Cuting edge products and product development

Flexible working hours (start between 7:00 and 8:30) Relatively friendly culture between colleagues One learns a lot about how customers use their products, how to develop products that can be manufactured easily and about the interaction of engineers in projects and solving problems. Enjoy the diverse work and travelling

Pros: Real product development. Travelling opportunities
Cons: Roles and responsibilities sometimes unclear. Sometimes competing culture within the organisation in stead of collaboration.

I have demonstrated the required attributes to be successful in the Electrical/Electronic field

Testing, of Units Good Relationship with my Co-Workers Programming, in C Testing PCB according to to Acceptance. I’m an energetic and hardworking individual with high aptitude. I have undertaken projects in my personal capacity in the community where I live and I have demonstrated the required attributes to be successful in the electrical/Electronic field. I have successfully undergone an IPC Training program, I have good knowledge in fault finding, knowledge of analogue and digital circuitry, I have completed Basic Microprocessor C Language and today I'm now a permanent employee with SAAB since 1st of Jan 2016 as Junior Technician and am willing to learn more within Electronics.

Multi facited experiece

The day to day tasks consist of: Bid preparation, preparing bids by leading teams consisting of project managers, technical product managers and commercial specialists in the preperation and submission of bids. International travel, presenting the company portfolio of products to clients in the Aerospace and Defence domain. Planning and execution of regional marketing and sales strategies. Internal sell of opportunities, in order to get management buy in to persue the prospect.

Attention to detail, results driven, focused to reach goals on time within time, budget and costs

Working at SAAB entails working with many Engineers from technical backgrounds. Work day entails, attending to emails, meetings, providing advise/feedback to Project & Portfolio Mangers. Creating tax invoices, reviewing WIP reports to ensure the COS, Sales & GM values are in tact. My relationship with co workers is ongoing and continuous die to the work environment,

Sgd provides you with opportunity to learn new things everyday

At SGD we have a hectic day with strict schedules as customer deliveries are highly driven. Due to complexity of products it makes it difficult to manage daily targets so a hands on approach from the manager is required.

Pros: Good experience as the scope is wide
Cons: Hectic schedules that lead to long hours and sometimes having to take work to home

No career growth

Company medical but coming off from medical aid Racial wage gap Work life balance is very good Opportunity for growth is very little Manages are mostly white Treatment amongst coworkers is fine Work pressure is decent No direct accountability
