Great working environment
I started working for Rage in June 2018, as store manager. Working for the company has been a great experience, I worked with a great team of staff that was dedicated to their work. The team from head office was also very helpful when it came to customer complaints and queries. Having head office at a different region, allowed for me to showcase my potential as I had to handle all administration of the store under minimal supervision, and ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. when head office is at another region, there are issues of receiving stock late, and in that case I had to make sure we generate sales. Had to motivate staff to ensure that customers open accounts, when a customer has an account, they are gauranteed to buy. Apart from those challenges, it is a pleasure working for Rage and all the new things I am currently learning; but I am looking for a company that can further enhance my skills and offer growth opportunities

Working with good people
Since I came to this company I have learned to accommodate everyone equally.I got to understand that there are very different characters out there.I have learned to be a team player.I have a good relationship with my co workers, we ove and respect each other. I enjoy working with good people. The most challenging part of of this company is the high targets without enough stock. This company doesn't care about its employees, all they want is money they care how you are going make it.

Excellent learning curve
It is very good because I get to learn new things each day. We worked very well with my coworkers, we worked as a team at all times. We knew that team work was important. I learnt alot about retail business. I enjoyed helping customers nd communicating with them on a daily basis. A challenge for me was working with a difficult customer.

Excellent learning curve
I am able to work in a team. I am able to take decisions alone. I am hard working , very patient and i dont stop working unless the job is done. I enjoy working and learning new things. I like working with people because im talkative and i am not shy. I can work for long period if time.

Excellent learning curve
My work starts at 7:30 and end at 17:30. I have a good working relationship with my co workers. I have learnt a lot from my work. To be a leader. I enjoy taking initiative and i enjoy being the leader to my team. I work independently. Working in retail is challenging because i have to make sure i make the targets . I manage the stockloss. But it is exciting at the same time to be able to manage all that.
Pros: but opportunities for promotion are not great.
Cons: long working hours in every retail.

Learning curve
Solving customer complaint and quarries.scheduling of staff as well as providing customer service to customers.opening of New accounts to recruit new business.merchanding and housekeeping.receiving of stock and dispatching of it as well as recording it down

Excellent learning curve
In retail I have to word with different people of all platforms understand that customer service means good service. Handling pressure when it's busy also reaching daily/monthly targets. A good day is when all customers walk t with a smile and their face. A bad day is when a customer complains about the goods they have purchased.

I feel that people on management level must be given the responsibility to take decisions about their store and only ask permission on matters beyond our control. Colleagues does not like to be corrected and they always report you if you correct then. My typical day:having to work 9hours without taking lunch because it will be very busy.

It is a great growth opportunity
I am learning I love working with people they have given me an opportunity to handle challenges from staff and customers They easily cater for relocation of staff. Hr is easily accessible
Pros: I get to understand all departments of the business because I do everything,from admin to visuals
Cons: Monday to Monday working only 1 day off per week
