My career objective is to work in an organization whereby I can apply the skills and knowledge of engineering practice that I have acquired throughout I’ am currently working at Passenger Railway Agency of South Africa (PRASA) I would like to work in an environment whereby I can be able to apply my skills and learn more about engineering field. I can manage my work with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively with people from diverse culture and always remain calm when under pressure.

bno chance of growth.very dead position the ritle you have when you start is the totle you leave withke job no growth prospects unfortunately even after years of corporate corporate corporaterience

Drive as you go
Since in the company, I have worked with 3 managers having the same duties. It gets frustrating because there is not work to do except time sheets and a monthly report. Taking minutes whenever there's a meeting and responding to the Manager's emails.

Maintenance of HV MV Substation , testing of Earth Spikes/earth mat and understanding schematic diagrams and fault finding on Schneider relays and AC/DC control circuit relays / monitors / timers. Talking out Work permits , Maintenance of Distribution Substation , XLPE cable jointing and terminatios , installations of Distribution boards and their fault finding , plugs and lights fault finding, Machinery maintenance and Crane maintenance , Maintenance and testing of high speed circuit breakers , calibration of DC high speed circuit breakers, Traction Rectifiers and Traction transformer maintenance

Good environment with nice people. Learned to work with different characters
It is a very good company to work and learn if you are dedicated to your work. Only disadvantage is it is difficult to get a bursary to further your studies.
Pros: With experience and dedication there's an opportunity to grow
Cons: Long working hours like 12 hours a day for 6 days or 7 sometimes, but you get used to it.
