Great place for entry level
During the week especially mid month it is not that busy but weekends and holidays it picks up. I get to deal with all sorts of customers the difficult and not so difficult customers. some make your day others ruin it. I have a great working relationship with my colleagues and supervisors. I enjoy the look of gratitude from customers and helping out someone. I've learnt that people are different and that never change your out look on life or any day just because on that specific day you get to deal with a very difficult customer.

Good learning experience
Best retail experience strong customer service providing. Very lower wages to keep the employees. You must know rightful people to get promotion. There is still nepotism going on within the company. Not always rightful people for the rightful position. Thats why i looking foward to find another fair company with better salary offer.

Experienced
I have worked for the above company for 7 years without being recognized,and i always go extra mile and wherever i am being tasked i make sure before i knock off i finish that task but i am being overlooked. My relationship with my superior is amazing. The challenging part is when my department manager left me with the department, i make sure that nothing disturb me. I normally work 6 hours for a day and its not good to be in one place for a very long time because you might not enjoy anymore

I love working with people I enjoyed being with them Through my part time employment in the retail, I have a strong customer focus with the ability to communicate and deal with people from a diverse range of background.

Am a hard worker and fast leaner
It's very interesting to work at my company and what I have learned is to not take your co-workers for granted hear their concerns what their views my relationship with was fantastic the most thing I enjoy is my work.the most challenging line was to makes sales and bit the daily budget

Not so great working experience
1. Discipline in terms of competition ( stickers not to steal at the tills) 2.Accuracy is key when dealing with money 3. Being alert of fraudulent activities e.g bank cards 4. Be very vigilant 5. I adapted quite easily as I work well with others 6. There is no union to fight for your rights 7. Two months without payment 8. There's no personal development and growth 9. Long working hours 10.struggle with transportation

It is a learning curve
I have learned a lot of things at pick n pay since I started at the stores . meeting new people and facing different working conditions and learning to deal with each on as they need to be. since moving to the support office I've been dealing with different suppliers and working with a totally different people. I appreciate getting the opportunity to learn the systems and programs that come with my job and most of all dealing with different suppliers and building positive relationship with them.

Good experience anytime
Working at pick n pay is good as I meet new sa nd different characters at our store and on a normal day I meet customers who have bad mood and its how good to know when they come back the next day thanking us the staff as a team.

Good communication with customers
I have learned how to treat a customer in a good way, how to make customers happy. I have also learned some wisdom word from my colleagues and i enjoyed working as a team.
