Excellent learning opportunities

A day at work would be assistanting customers with shopping and what they need around the store. I main a very good relationship with my co-workers as a happy work environment means a productive day. I have learned that nothing comes easy in life. Hard work pays off. My favorite part is when we merchandise the clothing. I'd say the most challenging is working with difficult customers. Trying to explain to them how the rules are and they don't want to listen, that time one has to be calm and explain the issue.

Pros: Huge companies always have an opportunity for growth
Cons: Work hours are too short.. work about 3 days a week

We working hard

We work as a grou helping each other,i am a hardworker i am able to do everything at my own i am reliable.i have learn to be a team leader to myself and how to handle situations also how to communicate with other people inclding customers.

Pros: i have proof myself that i am able i can run a store
Cons: I work 6 to 10 hours daily

My job

My job is kind of stresfull and hard work because one needs to be focused when working on the till due to shorts nd overs your money needs to balance at all times,a typical work day I would say is unpacking of stock being on the till at the same time as well as merchandising the stock on the floor and most of all keeping customers happy,my relationship with my co-workers are sometimes irritating because they can become to much at times it has its highs and lows,I actually enjoy being on the till and interacting with the customers,the most challenging aspect of my job is when the store is quite busy and the store needs to be cleaned before going home you need to work around the customers

Cons: I would say the salary

To be focus and well organized

I have learned so many things ever since I joined the Pick n pay company. I always set my goals for a day.I have a good relationship with my colleagues, we understand and respect each other work. One of the things I have learnt is to be panctual and professional and through that I have gained a lot of experience, How to accommodate different character and adjust to them.I enjoy working with people ,to be an asset into a company.To Run Business and to offer the best quality customer service.It not easy to run a big shop with different costumers and workers.I have to be calm and focus everyday not to panic when I encounter a problem .

Grommed in business and finacial field

An environment which requires one to deal with customers which means lots of commucation with different people, distribution of information to staff from seniors , following correct procedures of the company, solving of problems ,punctuality in order to complete tasks for a day and well organized structure for fulfill the target and the goals for the company

Verry good customer service experience

Good working environment, team work. Long worjing hours but reasonable because there is shift changing, customer service is very important since i work with customers everyday, meeting new people, being a cashier.

Great growth but i want to grow more

I start work at 7:30 finishing admin jobs then staff comes at 8:30 taking floats store opens at 9 , banking , opening of merchandise ,cleaning of floor cashing up cashiers( Staff) close shop . Next dsy same thing.

Pros: Fulfilling targets and finishing all job requirements on time
Cons: Longs hours and not enough day offs

Still Learning.

I'm wiser, stronger and alot more knowing of boundaries. The enjoyable part of it is interacting with diffrent people everyday, I love that and believe that it my calling. It's hectic, tiring work but it's what I do.

Pros: Learning to work with diffrently personalities
Cons: No room for growth. It's stagnant.
