Great work exposure
Working at NSA Industrial Engineering department is like being around family, where you're given room to grow and take full responsibility of a task or project, with the team's support whenever you need it. I am not afraid to voice out my ideas as the only criticism I may receive is constructive and not in a harsh manner. Feedback is always given and credit where and when it's due is also given. I have an opportunity to grow my career as well as interact with management on a daily basis as required or may be necessary.

You learn how to manage working under severe pressure.
I enjoy working at Nissan SA very much. I have an amazing team I work with and we all get along very well. Unfortunately it is very difficult to become a permanent employee of Nissan. I've been here for 4 years now and I am still only a contractor through Bidvest. Working at Nissan taught me to work under severe pressure and how to manage my time to get all duties done. As I am in Logistics we never shut down so even if you are on leave or sick, they expect of you to log on and still get the job done. Apart from that I'll say Nissan looks well after their employees and it's an advantage for anyone to get a position at Nissan SA.

Cons: They never shut down so they always expect from you to log on if a crisis occurs, even from home when on sick leave.

Quality Specification improvement
-I attend daily meetings where I tackle issues relating to supply product quality - I have a team that I work with where we daily review the concerns raised at the production line and finding solution to resolve them - As a mechanical engineer I have been exposed to how every department is involved in making sure that the final product looks good for customers - The most challenging factor about my position is finding information relating to the history of the parts because it usually not easy to get relevant information when people had already left the company.
Pros: With every hard work I place, I alws get good reviews from my manager and also motivates me to work hard

Good communication Skills
I have excellent Interpersonal, Communication and Strong Analytical Skills. I am a very dedicated and like to think of myself as a Go-getter. I have knowledge of and am competent in, the use of Microsoft office including, word, excel, Out-Look express, Internet and e-mail, SAP, RGT, Lead IT (CRM system) Spreadfast and Chrimson (Social Media platforms). Since I joined Nissan I have learnt a lot about the Dealer network and the used car market. Like to think of my someone who has a really good relationship with my co-workers and work well as team. currently what is challenging about my job is making the dealers trust you and in the 6 months I have been doing the job it is coming along very well .

Technical expect
I am currently working as a Technical warranty claims adjudicator and my duties is to do Assessment of warranty claims (online and physical parts assessment) Adjudication of claims submitted on OnlineClaim data, model, kilos, primary failed part, and replaced parts Adjudication of claims submitted (Parts assessment) Dealer technical queries - Warranty claims related queries (codes, flat rates, and replaced parts) Claim acceptance: warrantable defects Material and assembly failure Liaise with Service Managers/ internal staff: Handle claim rejection: not a warrantable defect Correctly allocate claims assessed to Suppliers Ensure claims data is correct for counter claim compliance: Codes, FRT's, parts, sublet Liaise with FQI engineers on associated claims received and assessed Ensure administration functions are taken care of daily/weekly/monthly Recording and filing of reports, queries and other correspondence Handle Dealer claims (technical) queries and provide adequate feedback

Qualified Motor Mechanic
I am a Qualified Motor Technician (Red Seal), I completed my 3 years Apprenticeship at Nissan South Africa. I am a self motivated, a hard worker, I can also work in team. I can diagnose fault and fix mechanical components.

Excellent learning curve
There is a very good and positive working environment, where the inexperienced are being taught the right job. What I have also learn is that all that matters in any kind of job is to have a right attitude towards your superiors and colleagues and the job you are doing.

Excellent learning curve indeed
The company it was on excellent place to work in, there many things you learn from self discipline, self control, time management ,respeating other co-worker team work you learn many things as an individual. Having to reach a target of round 3000 items/parts in 8hours on your own i may describe it as a typical work day. I have enjoy all the work that i was doing, i did not find it much challenging at all.

It gives excellent training and experience.
this is an organization with different races but we able to work as team, there is unity. ever since I came to this company, I've interacting with different disciplines as an IE technician and always on the line as I'm supporting production with studies.
